I love percentages, they cheer me up after a long haul of units. Like I have heard that we are well along on our quilt even though it was a lighter load this time.
...but I really love all the guesses. I love the way different minds see possibilities and I begin to see things I never saw before. It never accurred to me that this was ruining the fun for others, so I will try to restrain myself.

Ahh, the spoiler alert is a good idea!

Ok, you can all breathe a sigh of relief that you didn’t cut your centers on the wrong line. Gggrrr. I have a new ruler and the lines are a different color than the one I broke & this isn’t the first booboo I’ve made. Only 11 to dismantle and then sew another strip. Practice makes perfect. My standards are gonna be high for the next 11!

I didn't see anything new in the blog post today, just the same request, don't post unit size and count. I can understand why Bonnie wants to remain the sole source of information for her own pattern, especially in light of the GI incident, which I hadn't heard of before. Imagine people threatening to sue you over a pattern you are making available for free, and which is their own choice to make! I think that would make anyone a bit touchy.

Beautiful, auntjo!

I don't care one way or the other about the % posts.

When I take progress pics I nearly always arrange the units into some form of block, not as a legitimate guess, but as a possibility these units have for making other blocks. Even if someone "guesses" right no one would ever know until the reveal anyway.

I don't care what the stand of the admins and moderators on the QB are, out of respect for BH as the designer I will not post the numbers she has asked us not to post.

This is my 3rd BH mystery and I haven't followed exactly her directions yet, if I made 50 more I doubt it would be any different, I don't want one of 50,000 quilts, I want 1 of 1.

When I read the blog, it said that if you wanted to Link, then you needed to abide by her rules, or she's remove the link. I didn't read anything about those not linking being restricted.

I haven't been going to the FB page, because in past years I got so sick of the units by the time we were done. Seeing too many of them will do that to you... This is a much smaller group and the number of photos is just about right, so I'll stay here.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to go to the source to get the pattern correctly? How could Bonnie be held accountable for misinformation from another member? Anyone who doesn't check the source themselves, has no one but themselves to blame when things go wrong.

I'd better make my 25 units tonight, before clue 2 comes out.
