On Ringo Lake -- Bonnie Hunter Mystery Quilt 2017-18

I really wanted to spin my seams, but worry that they won't nest when needed. So I pressed them the way Bonnie said to.
If it turns out I don't need them pressed that that way to nest, I will spin them. I much prefer them that way.

Don't know what you can tell from these. First is the backer on top of the fabric on top of the die. Then you crank that through the machine 2nd pic shows after you take it apart. There is a lot of static electricity so you just have to pick it all up piece by piece.
There are two pieces that are waste. And you will have that no matter what.
Mine are just not coming out right. Everyone else's look fine.
The backer was used extensively used to cut 2 1/2 strips. There are actually 5 strips on this die.

Thanks. After taking that fall and breaking my tail bone, I'm having a little trouble.
I thought spinning the seams only worked on a 4 patch.

Everyone's units are looking wonderful!
AlvaStitcher, that's an adorable 9-patch.
Belfrybat, your coral doesn't look all that intense in the photo -- I like it.
Kassaundra, it looks like you have come up with another wonderful combination!
Theresa, in this case a video might be worth a thousand words. The spinning is about 2:30 in.

Here is a pic of the back side of my unit. I followed BH's first pressing directions (towards the aqua and the brown in the strips) but then went rogue. Spinning seams creates a much flatter less bulky block. I would go into greater detail but I bet that video link is better then any words I could say.
