When I first made it, I had some ruebens on the side but everyone wanted just the soup. It turned out well that I had doubled the recipe for that night!! But a mozzarella and pesto panini is very tasty with it....kind of like the ones at Panera :) But better!!

I love tomato basil soup. I grow the plant on my window sill but you have to give it a nice drink of water every day. I have mine in with the chives and parsley. I have a small herb garden outside. Oh the smell of rosemary is wonderful.

Sounds good to me. I love tomato soup. And I love your comment about using the whole plant and not having to keep it alive. I may have to hit the plant store to see if they have any left!

Sounds wonderful. Not familiar with the pizza seasoning. Is that a regional thing?

That looks yummy!! I love creamed soups, especially with winter coming.

I've been meaning to make some rueben sandwiches. Do you have any special advice for my first time? I have the swiss cheese, the rye bread and the sauerkraut. I also have 2 kinds of dressing--Russian and Thousand Island--not sure which to use. Also I don't know whether to use corned beef or pastrami. Thanks to anyone who knows how to make a good rueben :D
