WMUTeach, lovely blocks!
I talked with Anna and went with the rock base. Probably not a good plan to paper piece a new pattern while on drugs.

Here is a quilt I finished this month for a wedding. Not a color scheme I would normally do, but this was what the bride wanted.

What great blocks, WMUTeach and Hav! The baseball ones are really sharp. The baby dragon is adorable.

Janice, the Morning Glory block is gorgeous. Persevere! That's going to be an amazingly beautiful quilt.

That's a very beautiful, low volume quilt, Hav! Beautiful quilting, too.

Today I went in for my eyelid surgery and got it done. Now I look like I walked into a door! This was postponed months ago, because of the breast surgery. So I'll be laying low for a little while, trying to control the swelling and bruising. Glad to have this behind me!

Oh, Hav! Love the dragon! That’s the exact pattern I bought to use for AQ’s dragons but realized I’d run short of background so I went another direction. I’m sooo glad you made it! It’s darling. You did a great job. Gotta love the tail and the flames!

Two of my friends have had the eyelid surgery in the past 9 months. Different doctors but both are please at how much more they can see now. Rest and keep those sun glasses near by plus a good story for all the bruising that may happen. One had a good tale about a fight with her long arm. It ended with something about I look bad but you should see the long arm!

SBG, My mother had eyelid surgery too and she was thrilled with how much better she saw. You’ll love the results.
