I have no idea what I weigh... cept I know I'm back up around my all time high of 190#s (the battery in my scale died).

BUT, I feel good (or I should say better... less poopy). I got myself out of the house 3 days this weeks and walked around w/gd for those days (she w/her adapted tryke or wheel chair). Plus I did get on my eliptical yesterday for 10 minutes like 4x this week). Oh & hubby & I are take'n dance lessons together! I feel good about it because I'm moving & that's a start. I know the more active I get the less I will think of food and the more my spirits will rise. I swear being sedendary is SERIOUSLY bad for me, physically and emotionally. I must get myself off my buttocks & get the blood flow'n! I think I'm off to a good start.

AND, Morgan (my gd) and I worked hard this week w/her physical theropy. Of course when Morgan works hard, Grandma is also work'n too :) She just turned three and we already are working on transfers! This child is such an inspiration! She is unable to feel anything from the hips down and you should see her try to transfer from a couch/chair to her wheel chair and back! Plus, she can almost pull herself up a small set of stairs! I swear she has just impressed the poop out of me this week and I just have to brag about how amazing I think this She is :)

I'm going to try to post weekly regardless of my weight situation. I believe it will help me emotionally and in time I will see improvements in my emotional state/attitude and perhaps the rest won't feel so 'hard'.

(Can you tell the sun's been shine'n for a few days lol I always get energetic & motivated when the sun is shine'n lol)

Quilted Dove: Wow, what an inspiration your GD is. Funny how the young ones don't feel sorry for themselves, they just do whatever they can do. There is so much to be learned from her. The number on the scale should be secondary to how you are feeling. Less poopy is a great start. I appreciate you sharing your experiences of your activities with your GD. You brought a little sunshine into my day with your post. Thank you.

I can't say it any better or add anything. Ditto for me too. :-)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. We have lots of rain here. Oh well, April showers, bring May flowers.

I am putting my focus on weekend eating this week. We always do so good during the week when we have our normal work schedules that we stay on. We are sure to keep track of our WW points each day. But then on the weekend, the schedule gets changed for many reasons. The first thing we stop doing is writing down what we eat, so this weekend, no matter how bad it is (we attended a banquet yesterday), I am writing it down. I had a .4 gain last Thurs at my weigh in. It is a small gain, but it is telling me something. So I am determined to admit to myself why that happened and do something about it. Does anyone else keep track of their daily points, or calories? How do you do on the weekends?

Linda

Weekends are really tough for me too. I faithfully journal what I eat on weekends, but I don't do my excercise videos. I have been trying to do a little more walking outside then. I'd like to chuck the whole eating thing too, but I know I'll pay for it Monday morn when I step on the scale.

I am so excited to see my plateau breaking and the scales dropping 3 lbs.!! :-D :-D

The planned snacking is working great for me, since I am not out of control with feeling hungry!

Yay LNeal!! Way to go you loser!!Don't you love being called that on this thread LOL? Those plateaus are killers-can really make you discouraged.
Laparshal: yes, yes, yes on the week-ends I seem to have more trouble. For some reason I'm less disciplined but I'm working on it.
Do any of you have days when you're just plain hungry all day? I mean really feel like you need to eat NOW? I'm having one of those days today so I'm on the computer and drinking lots of water and not looking at the refrigerator or hearing the cheese calling me.
Have a good losing week-this is the last week of the month. Good luck everyone--hope we're all called "loser" LOL!!

Lneal! That is wonderful! You are an inspiration. I am starting new today. I will journal everything and apply your snacking tip. That is such a great idea. I'm going to do that too. Thank you for sharing. :-) Great job.
