I just enjoyed a quilt get away weekend on Cape Cod with a nice group of women. My second table topper is almost complete, now to decide which one to use? My dilemma is that I am crazy busy all the rest of this week with commitments at work and with my children so, I guess I won't be finished until at least the weekend.

hello!!! back again (seems to be my theme song.) the net has been burning itself out here in the park but for now its working and I am oh so happy that its worth singing about.. la la laaaa la la! tada!

I thought I would share a pic of what I have sent "hot toddy" for her patriotic swap. I am unsure if she will be able to post these so heck with it I am. also I am posting a pic of her anastasia's swap sorry anastasia it made me mail it tablemat in bold bright colors and then the patriotic side swap I received from Jan (Jaba) and her runner she made for me with two fq's the black russian type fabrics one side she made with the bold colors and the other is a side with bird houses and country colors so it has two uses .. I love them both and owe grand apologies for not posting sooner.

here they are and I hope you enjoy:

but wait there is more Sandy in AZ sent me a suprise in the mail. I shared with her a few little scraps I had and then out of no where comes this lovely treat. This is perfect for spring with all the soft colors. I absolutely love it thought the candies never made it to MY MOUTH. Candy here disappears like magic. abra cadabra! GONE. sheesh. its amazing he has any teeth at all. I will have the prettiest dressed tables in all of Calaveras County!!! maybe even farther.

GREAT runners!!! I would love to find/buy the patterns to make the star shaped one from Jaba and the hexagon shaped one from Sandy...hint hint!!!!

PS Here is a little teaser of squares I am making for my partner's fruit theme table runner, ignore the stabilizer showing thru on the back, as soon as I get the applique done, it will go...:

Also, she has a light blue rim around her dining plates, so I am trying to decide which fabric (possible a blue) to somehow incorporate into my pattern design (I am making my own...like extra sashing, depending on how I do the setting of the squares). I posted some fabric options over in the pics area if anyone has a chance and wants to give me some opinions please.
Thanks all!
