You can have some of mine, lol! I think I have 3-4 extra. (Pluse tons of strips!)

Really enjoy reading this thread, and love seeing everyone's 9 patches! I've got 35 done, hope to finish up this evening.

Kele, I love your neutrals! They add so much character. I am just about done with clue 1 too, but now will have more company for the rest of the week. Time to put things aside again.

I usually use the busy neutrals (at least I did in past BHMQs) but it seems that so far I have been tame in my choices. However, we have just started so there will be time to dig out some busy ones. Love seeing everyone's blocks both the tamer ones and the ones with character! LOL Looking forward to Friday's clue.

I am glad that i am not the only one with 1 1/2" strips hanging off the drying rack:-) LOL

(when I do quilts that use strips, I hang them on a wood drying rack that is set next to my Featherweight table, easy to keep in order and to grab what I need next)

As to the length of strips -- I got 27 4 patches from one WOF brown, 4 green (aqua), and 4neutrals. That equals 42" of brown, 160" green, and 160" of neutral. Double that if you are doing full size as I'm only doing half. And if you are doing scrappy, I'd add 10% as you will have more waste than using yardage. Someone might want to check my math as that is not my forte.

I did get done with clue # 1 and have them all squared up - but didn't spin the seams. I may change my mind on that later.

Bonnie has asked people to refer others to her blog for mystery info, rather than repeat specific information about the mystery (like size and number of units) on other internet venues. That doesn't mean we can't share our experiences and help each other out.

Carol, I like the contrast against the coral. A teaser to what we have to look forward to
