I use to do counted cross stitch and it was a great help. I have the floor model, but don't use it so much for quilting tho, mainly as the layout of my room and tables prevents me from putting it near my machine.

I found an architechs (sp) lamp that moves every way but loose! I have a day light bulb in it and I love it! I got the lamp for just $5.00!! Doesn't hurt to look around at these old thrift stores, ya never know what you may find! :-D

I did the same thing. I really like the light it gives off-very helpful when doing handwork at night

I bought a generic one for a fraction of the price at a discount store and love it.

I have lots of them. Floor type, table tops, crafting carry along sizes. They are wonderful. I have started ordering the bulbs from their website for all my lamps. DH loves the natural lighting.

We have 8 ott-lites in the house and love them! I purchased them from the ott-lite website - many more choices and better prices than usual stores.
