    Krista- thise hexies are cool

    Love the dog, Watson!

it’s so much fun reading what everyone is doing and I’m really enjoying the pics folks have posted!

Apparently my list of projects was a little too ambitious, but I managed to get my part of the first one done and also worked on a UFO (which has gotten so large it may not get finished in July). Today is busy with family in the afternoon, but may get some work done on my art quilt this morning.

Does unsewing count? I made my QSTs by the method using two squares and drawing on the diagonal. Whoops - that means half of them would be facing the wrong direction. I thought of it when I decided to do them that way instead of individually like Quilter's Cache's directions indicated, but did quite a few anyway. I didn't want to sew on the bias - now I've got to remove seams and resew on the bias. Luckily, I discovered it at 12, not 72. The quilt center is still in four pieces. I think I'll set up another ironing board, take a break and sew those three very long seams. Kind of hard to put the borders unless I do.

Jumping out of the VQ and over to organization. I worked on collage quilt yesterday finishing the main section and also piecing the 7 different fabrics to form background. I also ironed and cut more strips for the Bonnie Hunter Jamestown Landing. Last evening I got another side of binding finished on a scrappy. Should be done with it by Sunday and can post it. Now to put back all the fabric out that I pulled yesterday for the collage base.

Yippie!! I finished the bindings on 4 baby quilts, sandwiched and finished the one baby quilt top I had left, cut a few squares from my scraps, but I didn't get to practice the 10-minute block... I am too tired to spend another 10 minutes to do a 10-minute block!

Thanks for allowing me to go on this very nice VQW with y'all. I can't wait until the next one!

Sounds like many of you accomplished your goals! While I didn't get everything done in my mental list, I did get quite a bit finished so I'm happy ☺. See you all next month and I'll try to remember to start the thread on time 😁

I got quite a bit done on my string quilt. I have all the blocks made and put them on the design wall. Re-arranged them a bit and started sewing them together in rows. I got 7 out of the twelve rows stitched together. I would have gotten more done, but I kept getting distracted by a certain cute little dog <3

I really enjoy seeing everyone progress on your projects this month.

After reviewing my list of want I wanted to complete this month's VQW. I finished my Brother's quillow and mended his backpack. I will work on my other project through the rest of the month. See everyone next month.
