Sounds like something my youngest daughter would say.

My husband also wonders what I will do with all the quilts. I don't know! But I don't see it as a big problem, compared to the other problems in the world.

Good one! We are childless. Should my husband ask questions, will tell him to take inventory of his own gun collection.........I have my own ammunition ready for this argument, I mean discussion.

If you make them, the need (for them) will eventually present itself.

My husband keeps on asking me when I will make a quilt for us!!! As my grandkids have grown, I have made 11 baby quilts, and 4 kid's quilts, and now 3 college kid quilts. It keeps me busy. I am also doing a quilt for kids and hope to be the DELMARVA coordinator, made 10 quilts for Davids House, and multiples for the Women's safe house. I am truly blessed, so I gift as much as I can.

My husband knows that my hobbies cost much less than his.

I decided this year that I WILL make a quilt just for me. I have the fabric purchased and the pattern, just not the time!

All my first quilts were for family members, now that everyone has one, the rest are a small stash for gifts and then the large remaining ones are for charity. Quilts of Valor, Camp Pendelton Hospital, Project Linus and now Quilts for Kids.....I also crochet hats for Military Beanies and tiny beanies for the local NICU hospital....and yes my hands are busy every day.....

All of the above, I also do craft shows, have sold a couple of larger ones, mostly premades are leads for custom orders.

Last month we celebraterd our golden Anniversay. I decided in Jan I wanted to give each of our 4 kids a quilt for our anniv. My self challenge was to finish UFOs. finished 5, plus made 3 personalized laps for special friends that came to share the day with us. My personal challenge is to finish 4 more ufos before years end. Of course I've also started a couple of more quilts. I am constantly rotating projects as my mind wanders.

My husband asks the same question all the time, too. However, I am still working on making a quilt for each family member so I am safe for now. But, he wants to know what I am going to do once everyone has a quilt. I told him I plan to continue quilting until I die - its a hobby and keeps me busy and sane!!! I think I like the answer someone else said, "so the kids can fight over them when I am dead" - loved that.

We bought a cottage on a lake at the beginning of the year. My husband is all excited because now he can fish. I am all excited because I have an excuse to make more quilts!
