Cindy, I'm glad you like it. I've got 1 of the 2 side blocks finished too. They'll both be identical. This will be your last sneak peek though! I haven't taken it loose from the fixing stitches around the outside yet, but you get the idea...

There's a couple imperfections between the two pieces, but overall I'm pretty happy & I hope you will be too.

Jaba, you can be my partner anytime, and not to worry, I'll be working this little baby like a racehorse for a lil bit. I have 2 aprons to make by the 2nd that have to go back to Denmark with the man's brother who's visiting that weekend. I have finally gotten what I was looking for to make Brat's housewarming wallhanging (I even got the backing half price in the remnants yesterday!) I have a wallhanging to do by the end of the month that I can't decide on for Rhonda's swap. Baby blanket and car seat quilt for my best friend's niece, who's due Thanksgiving, but I have to have them ready for the baby shower in October. And my best friend's birthday gift, which is already late, but she's willing to wait because she knows the embroidery was the hold up.

other than that your bored that is what I am hearing .. sheesh get a move on it/ MUSH MUSH (my new favorite swap leader saying).. you have oodles of time (UH HUH) for all that. I just knocked number 3 out of my 8 to do list this week. Phew. no trouble at all. gulp.

I wonder is the dining room going Thanksgiving or is it going Christmas Jaba? lol and is it a red Christmas or a purple or blue one for you? so many tough decisions!
my thoughts on these holidays: I am so ever thankful to be alive right now playing these games I am fortunate to celebrate each and every one of them. Its kinda like.. you now the red hat ladies. Do it because you can! and I buy into that 100 percent even if I don't wear hats! I wear decorations all over the bloody place
on another note: my x wrote me a nice letter the other day and he added in the middle.. your half dead and.. your waist deep in the grave what would happen if... IF I SMACKED HIM> boy it took me like I admit it 2 days to get flaming mad. I am THANK YOU VERY MUCH still 99 percent kicking so shut the heck up. I am decorating more in his honor. He did not like all that stuff.. watch me.

Oh my Brat! I'd make a trip where he was to put my foot in his tail. I don't blame you for getting mad.

Nope, not bored, just happy to be able to do something again & covered up all over again with projects to do with my lovely new machine!

This is for Dustys Momma. That table runner is absolutely gorgeous. Please make me your partner and do it in Patriotic colors. I just love it. I have an embroidery machine that fits onto my Pfaff, but haven't done anything with it yet. I think this is going to be a fun swap. By the way Brat, I was your partner in the mug rug swap, and I really liked the green one you did for me. Thanks loads.

why your welcome darlin'! and I just finished my hot pad for not your mommas hot pads. I did a mug of coffee with a big star on it.. and a woodsy circle with a buck in the middle.. I am sending a nice hot cup of starbucks to my partner. hope she gets that I do whacky things like that and is not offended. I promise however in this swap to do only nice neat seasonal of your choice things. unless you want whacky.

wow so many sign ups now that the room is going to be a buzz with chatter! keep them coming!!! the more the merrier!

I just ordered six different one yard cuts of anna griffin twinkle bright from craftsy. I started my search on the web. found it for 12.99 and a couple for 10.99. Then I went to ebay. found a few for 7.99 it was getting more tempting.. then I went to PINTEREST and there was a post by someone with the fabric variety. opened it there was the add for craftsy.. 3.99 a yard. AMAZING how prices vary it pays to look around. I think its adorable vintage style 50's wrapping paper/greeting card type prints. I now have to find a use for it... The trouble with this holiday stuff is I can't seem to get enough of it!
Today: I was looking out the window it was a bit overcast (warm as heck but it LOOKED LIKE FALL) and I was wondering how soon can I put my pumpkins (glass) and other fall décor out without being the neighborhood nutbar? so I decided Sept 1st was the latest I would do it. not very late but it seems like FOREVER now that I want to do it That is how much I love this stuff!

I'm glad you like it too! But, partner are luck of the draw dear! Remember that time is running out! We're at 12 participants right now. (Means I don't have to play, neener neener!) Come on, make me play ladies! Bring your friends! Don't forget that 20 gets an embroidered freebie for a lucky participant!

MORNING Buttercups! how is the world today in your neck of the woods? its going to be a lovely 88 today (UGH) and with luck overcast and maybe a bit of tiny raindrops later? Its a clinic morning for me yippee! and then a table runner tackle this afternoon. cutting at least between nap I bought this beautiful pear fabric its gilded, the pears are like 3 inches each very rich looking and two coordinates in olive green like the leaves and in a golden beige? with little gilded rust star like design on it.. they are so pretty on their own but together its like an ahhhh moment. I bought them for the table runner swap but I sure would love to see them on my table. of course I did receive about 15 new fabrics in fall from the fq swap so I could use those. gorgeous leaves.. greens rusts golden fabrics white with bright leaves, black with really pretty leaves.. ah the choices the choices. Course that leaves OODLES of fabric to make something here is that is what you love.... just saying...

I'm with you, Elisa, BRING ON FALL! We've had such a nice summer (for a change) here in mid-Oklahoma, but boy it just couldn't go away without pouring on the heat one last time! It's been in 90's, heading towards 99 before end of week!! I was just thinking yesterday about putting out Fall stuff, but thot, maybe wait another week, Sept 1st at least. lol I'm ready for the pretty colors and cool weather.
