What a neat quilt Marion and m-Fay! I like it
Decided it was finally time to start this little quilt. I just didn't realize there were so many pieces......

    Default Sassy

No help with my quilting from Sassy...she is too busy basking in the sun on the deck in her little box!

I agree. After the long trip and long wait, Marion’s WH was worth it, m-fay.

Oh man, a busy month has gone by, spending much time last month prepping and hanging quilts in a local art show. it is over now with great success and fun. Now I can take a month to work on a WHing for the swap. Spending time perusing old magazines for inspiration and came up to an old AP&Q mag from 2012, titled Sweet Centerpiece by Helen Stubbings of Hugs "n Kisses (HUGSNKISSES.NET)

Started picking fabrics and cutting pieces for the applique. Really working out of my traditional standard. I hope I can pull this off. The background fabric is a vintage piece dating from(?) and I want to keep it uncut as much as possible so it can be better enjoyed. All the other fabrics are from my extensive scrap pile.

This is going to be a fun piece to work on.

It sure is. Your vintage fabric is perfect for the background. It will be a stunner for sure.
