Smile There is a CD to print patterns

There is a CD, out of print now, but you might be able to find a copy used from someone...maybe ebay or post here to see if someone is done with their copy?

It was by Quilt Pro and is called 50 Fabulous Stars. You can print any size you like. I was lucky enough to find one from a member who was working on the blocks last year.

PS I LOVE your idea of doing the 3 ring binder and keeping them close by as you piece and sew

I cut my book apart so I could easily copy the pages. It's now in a three ring binder. It also makes it nice to take the page with the picture of the block I'm working on and have that next to me to refer to while sewing.

Cathy, I love the way you did the California fussy-cuts and your color selections. I am have a heck of a time sticking to my batik stash. I won't even show you Colorado - yuck! But here are CA and CT.

    Here is my Colorado

Since that only had 48 pieces it went together quick enough that I decided to try another paper pieced block I had downloaded the pattern for.

Your quilt is beautiful! I've had the book forever and one day hope to make at least some of the stars. Thanks for posting and getting me excited again.

Hi Cathy I love your colors, and the floral paper piecing - how will you sneak this into the stars? Or are you on the way to a new project?

I did a couple more stars before heading off to vacay in Belize - just got back. Snow here is !@#$!#$!@#$#$%^#$%^$%^&*%^&*(%&
If you know what I mean...I wish I could have stayed down in the land of sun.

    Suesew -those are nice!

The flowers won't be part of the stars - just another paper piecing pattern I decided to try. I struggle most with getting the eight pieces sewn together. The flower is fun because even though the leaves are separate pieces, there is no lining up when you sew them together.
