I went to MO Star quilt Co. I bought backing, borders for my log cabin quilt. I bought an eagle pattern and a very small iron. I figure another month before I have the top completed. I did not see anything I was looking for for my secret santa person. I'll go shopping next week for them.

I went to Joann yesterday and bought fabric for hubby's Halloween costume. It's all sparkly. We found a most hideously bedazzled dress at Goodwill. Will need to do some alterations but I have a week left. (Can you tell that I am a procrastinator?) He will be the best-looking Tinker Bell ever. Muahahaha.

I am proud of myself. I signed up for a Secret Santa here on this board and had to buy 4 fat quarters as part of the gift package. I didn't want to part with the few I had left uncut, so I went to the LQS and purchased ONLY FOUR.
There were SO many there I'd have liked to have purchased.
Walking out of there darn near killed me! LOL

I have to get serious about this moratorium now. I have followed the moratoriums for the past few years and kind of followed the rules. Well, we recently moved and my studio is not near as big or has near the storage space as my last studio, so I really need to follow the rules and not purchase any more fabric. I will better, I will be better, I will be better about not buying new!
