Maria;
Gorgeous quilt. Love the colors and the pattern. It is simply stunning. You and Rosie work well together indeed.

I'm loving all the quilts, and am a little jealous that others are getting beautiful work done!! :)

I sat down at a sewing machine for the first time in a couple of months (other than to test one) and finally finished this pillow. (I know...not a quilt, but it felt good to sew so I'm sharing! :D ) This pillow has been THIRTY years in the making!! I embroidered it in 1981. Didn't feel confident finishing it, not with the piping and zipper, so gave it to my mama to finish. I got it back in 2005, and finished it about 15 minutes ago!! Just call me "Speedy!" :D :D :D Used my 403 to finish it with.

Charlee, That's a pretty pillow! Better late than never. There is such a wonderful feeling completing a long term project!

Charlee, that is a pretty pillow. That embroidery looks extensive, and way more than this gal will hand sew.

Must be Mamas compelling us about projects this week. That quilt I put on here that I whipped up for the door prize thing looks just like my late mama would have made. My daughters both said, "OMG, it looks like a grandma quilt!"

A very pretty pillow with lovely embroidery - more than I could do. Piping - more than I want to do. Good finish!

My oldest daughter's b'day quilt is finished! I didn't like it and had to do some other things like gardening, so it took forever. Besides, it's two quilts because I didn't like the front.
Front: Snowballs and 9Ps with a strip of appliqued flowers. Back: Sunny Lanes from quilterscache. Scrappy piano keys border w/2 color binding.
Piecing: AnnieRose, a 1956 Singer 301
Applique: 1973 Elna 62C - a perfect satin stitch and blanet stitch
Quilting: 301 until her plug assembly blew so a 1940s Necchi took over (15 clone said no)
Decorative stitching in the red: 1970s Montgomery Ward made by Juki
This is a vintage e machine quilt - maybe it's name should be "With a Little Help From My Friends"

Irish Rose, It's a beautiful quilt. Your daughter is going to love it.

Charlee.... doesn't it feel good to get a past project done? I love it. In fact, other than emergency things, I've been trying to get some past projects finished so I can go on to some new things..... too many emergency things (great-granddaughter's birthday dress, daughter's 25th anniversary quilt, etc.) keep getting in the way....

Here's one I just finished:

Pieced on my Singer 401A, hand appliqued, quilted on my vintage 70's Bernina Record 830. The pattern is from Fat Quarter Quilting by Lori Smith.

Irishrose, That is a gorgeous quilt!! I love both sides. I'm a big fan of double-sided quilts. Nicely done!!
