Let's see if this works. Not the Westinghouse, but looks just like it.
http://www.petpeoplesplace.com/petst...593301203.html And here is one showing the spring action when on a machine. http://cgi.ebay.com/White-Rotary-Sew...item45f912e313 |
Any advice on how to actually sew the direction you want to sew when using a treadle machine? Everytime I need to stop to turn fabric, etc. I can't sew in the right direction! I keep going backwards... Any advice?????

I am afraid to even get a Touch and Sew after all the bad vibes on that machine. Glad to hear someone actually loves it! Quiltdoctor, I like the Eldredge Rotary - godzilla and all! Sharon that 99 looks really rough right now, but I bet with some Liquid Gold on that case and machine - it will really shine. Just be careful about using the Liquid Gold on the wood if you are planning to re-stain and re-finish -- the oil in the Liquid Gold makes it a little difficult to re-stain. Nancy |
