Thank you SewExtreme: I'm really looking forward to it. I've often wondered how to take my machine with me as I travel frequently. Now I have a way!! Woo Hoo!! I'm really looking forward to it.

Lets see if it is here:

And another one bites the dust......my son just picked up a 1955 99k for me....he will hold on to it until he is home over the July 4th weekend........anything special I need to know about this sweet little machine?

Billy: Did you see the pics of my new baby? I'm anxious to hear what you think. I also posted a pic of the fabric I sewed on so you can see what I was talking about yesterday. Any new advise or stick with what you said. I haven't had a chance to tinker with her yet today other than to take her out and take her pictures.

That 99k looks just like mine, except mine is in better condition.
The needle goes in with the flat to the right and it threads left to right.

Sharon,
Thank you for the heads up about the needle and thread in this machine....this is the opposite of my FWs so I will need to keep this in mind when I start sewing with it....
