"Blossom"... :) Unless you have some idea of who once sewed on her...then I'd name it after that person!

Glenn, do you know the previous owner's first name? I try to name my machine after their original owner's. If not that, then after the person who found the machine for me. One of my FW's is called Monica after Vintagemotif.

So...you gonna have a repaint done on this one too when you get the $$ from Uncle Jr.'s estate?

Oh, and my offer got turned down!

Nancy
Nancy, Take a look at this CLs ad.
Doesn't this look like the same machine as the one you post up in Woodlawn/Sacramento area? Weird! This one is in the Bay Area, hercules, pinole.

Top two photos Bay Area
Bottom photo Sacramento

Just the difference is the cabinets and one machine still says W&W.
Maybe, the Woodland one picked her price because of the other one listed in the Bay Area! At least we know they are out there and if a bunch start showing up the prices will go down!

Oh, I LOVE that table!! But  I don't have another inch of space in my sewing room. No, not even 1/2 inch!!!
Did you notice that the seller thinks a FW can be used with that table with just a bit of tweaking?
Sharon, I noticed what the ad said! I guess those sellers just think we are all pretty gullible!

Nancy
Problem is....I have an Elna Supermatic that I think probably would go in that table, and now I r e a l l y w a n t i t!!! WAHHHHH!!!
You going to bid on it?

For the white flowers on the machine, you could name her:
Fiona, meaning white or fair.

For the blue flowers on the machine, you could name her:
Blue Bell, constancy, never-ending-love
Periwinkle, beginning of friendship
Veronica, fidelity

I was thinking something that sounded delicate like Bettina or Franseca ?sic? short for a flower child from San Francisco back in the day....

So Glenn is she a pre 1900 machine? I have never seen a Singer with the Orange Blossom/Dogwood decal. Yes, of course you are right the VS2 was the precursor to the 27! What a great find!

Nancy
Yes Nancy she is somewhere between 1888 and 1890. Charlee found the age for me. She really sews nice.
