No not at all I am buying them up because I like the mechanics and the engineering that went into them. This was America at its best!!!
Unfortunately we will never have that pride and the initiative ever again thanks to outsourcing and the "bottom line" but its an era that we can go visit and enjoy the hard work and pride that was put into each and every machine that was made!

Okay kiddos I am going to go throw a few miles on the F350 and I will be back later hopefully with a neat little find if I can hook up with the lady on the way to Nashville to drop off this pair of cars.
It is a treadle cabinet but it has the irons of the parlor cabinets.
Anyway here is a link.........

I am looking to purchase a 1924 Singer Model 99 Sewing machine. The owner says it has been used a lot. It doesn't have any attachments. Attachments are readily available aren't they?

Yes, I do somewhere. I will look for them and try to post. Maybe get some feedback about it. It's not the most beautiful as far as wear and tear, but it's in super working order and comes with a 1 year warrenty #AH974373. It comes with all the attachments, manual, and case. What do you think?

I just put a deposit on this lovely machine today. We are going tomorrow with the truck to bring her home. I don't know if the link will show up. If not, I'll post a picture. To say I am excited is quite the understatement. It needs a belt and probably a cleaning but we were able to test drive without thread and it all seems to work so I'm hoping it will just need a sprucing up. And, as a sign it was meant to be, the serial number starts with my initials! How cool is that!!
And the other good part is that it is only $135. I'll post more pictures when we get Her home.
