Lisa, I had to laugh when I saw this post, as most of the people on this forum take the cord off!

Billy probably has a cord!

Nancy
I do in fact! PM me for the details and I can get it to you.

The Deluxe cabinet is sturdy, but it needs cleaning as well.

Billy can you tell me anything about this Deluxe machine? I can see it is a badged Japan machine. The motor says Japan on it. No where on the machine itself is there any indication of where it is made. Here is the Serial # 59685. Aren't you keeping records of Japanese made machines?

Billy, thank you for all your insight and advice you share on this thread and throughout the forum. We are really blessed to have such a gifted and talented man to go to when we have questions. You rock..............

Nice haul indeed!!! Yes I am keeping records of the Japanese machines especially the Model 15's like yours. Thanks for the numbers I will add them to the data base that I have built up. Hopefully we will have a way to date and know the manufacturer of these wonderful machines.

Really looking forward to sewing with this beautiful machine.
Hubby needs to tighten the leather belt, as it is considerably looser than when the 66 was in.
Hopefully he will be able to do that this evening.

Sandi
I know where there is one of these in Alabama in the treadle for $45 but it is rough to say the least!! I really love your machine and the decal pattern!!!

Its not hard to replace the cord to the foot pedal. I've done it with Featherweights.

Beautiful machine! I had one that my BIL found on the curb, it was so badly rusted, it became a parts donor.
