Thanks, it's seems to be a really "sweet" machine.

I am almost sure it will be a 15 x 1 (standard) needle. All the Necchis, Elnas, and the Japanese machines I've seen take the common needle.

Nice, clean cabinet. I love both the ornate ones...but really like the plain ones. They 'look' cleaner to my eye. (personal taste, of course).

The 66-1 with the Egyptian? was made from 1902 - 1906 and the Scroll (red - must be the redeye?) from 1906 - 1923 was a back clamp. These were treadles with back clamping feet.

My 66-1 is a 1908 model, with Egyptian Lotus decals. Feet are back clamping and it's a treadle.
