Good Morning Everyone!!!
Happy Birthday Bram and Isa
We went and picked up my new machine this weekend, and then visited my parents on the way home I dont have a space to set up the frame anywhere yet. but my Mom, Sister, and Aunt have all offered me their dining room tables to use the machine!
BonusBlocks WOOHOO!!!!
so I had an idea.... for a future project.. how would yall feel about a Round Robin??? I have always admired the finished look of one, and it would be FUN for our group! just a thought

Anael, what is it with pets and quilts--they love them! When I take a pic of a project I have to spread it on the living room floor. Patches is asleep in the center of it before I'm done smoothing it out. Your kitty is claiming that snuggle!!
DD, altho I like the idea of a Row robin, I never sign on for them. 1) I have a dog--doesn't sew, but I'm sure pet hairs would be included; 2) I smoke--not in sewing area but people are extremely sensitive to odor; 3) I'm a fabric slut--I buy fabric anywhere from Tuesday Morning to LQS so you never get equal quality in all pieces; and 4) I'm too insecure in my abilities and wouldn't want to ruin anyone else's hard work. I like that everyone is including suggestions for our next project and don't want to discourage any one who would be interested in RR--if I were normal, I'd probably love it LOL.

Dh and kids say I am a control freak and they might be right; I plan certain colors and design in a quilt; do not like kits that force me to use exact colors...do not like trading pieces around and get a different 'take' on it. I buy fabric for quilt possibility with a light, medium and dark pieces that I like that appeals to me. Or know my stash well enough to use some of it. I was in a trade in South Texas, refrained from using red in the block 'cause I wanted to do a 'red dragon' in the center...and when I got it back, the quilter had added a red to the blocks, so she had me seeing red, and yet I had to be polite and say how well I liked it...so that was enough for me, thank you, but no thanks. It is a good thing we do not all think alike, do things alike with our own touches, or see things alike that we can admire one another's work..and I do love the idea we are exchanging blocks....and that they are signed. Wonderful thing.
Yes, that CAT looks comfortable, saying to you, "I need to snuggle, too!" Anael. We had cats inside in TEXAS, and they always laid on the new quilts. And, I agree with JanRN, inside dogs like to lay on the new quilts, too. There are always adorable pets pictured on QB caught 'in the act'. Sorry, JanRN, I cannot tolerate any smoker smoking next to me or in my house or car 'cause then I cannot breathe properly. It is not just a matter of personal choice...but a health issue. Use to be an old song, "Smoke, Smoke that cigarette....".
Company a'coming in tomorrow evening; baked 'thee cake' and double batch of brownies today. Will do the fresh bread tomorrow and maybe couple of pies. Planned oven cooked meals with less work and more fun for all. Big pot of Creamy chicken and noodles is all ready to eat also. Dh pronounced it prefect when we sampled it for supper.

Jan maybe you will change your mind when you get your Bblocks I know that we ALL have different capability's and budgets. Im not picky AT ALL! I think that is why I havent joined a RRobin... afraid of the quilt police!!! but I dont think any of us here are that critical
Aneal, cost wise.... I was thinking that for those out of US we could each slip a few dollars in that persons package and send it around. by the time it gets to mailing across the water/border there may be enough dollars to help with the shipping cost???
Carrie !!!!YAY!!!!!
