Here is the block that I did last night.

I went back ta my old favorite 10 min block. I did do a few changes. I used the first 4 blocks & put the center block in. I also added the centers ta give it a more traditional cathedral window look. I was gonna add the triangles ta the outer seams so that it would have really looked like a cathedral window but I couldn't git the math right. (I'm not a math person. I also cut the back pieces out.

I was wondrein' if I should cut the blue out also? Hmmmm
This is the block that I'm gittin' rid o'.

THEY'RE HERE!!!!!! THEY'RE HERE !!!!!!
Now I am just going to have a quiet moment by myself to open the package and savour the delights. Let the show and tell begin.
Thank you so much for waiting until mine arrived, I tried to bribe someone into letting me see a peek but they wouldn't budge no telling my lips are sealed

Dublb, throw that block toward my way; I like it. I also like the replacement you did!
Mirabelle, did you thank the Postman? So happy you have received you BBs....now we wait for Honchey to signal us to post our BBs, I guess.
Anael, when you get old, you have aches and pains by the score...washed dishes in hot water and hands feel better...just an achy head and knees now...sinus problems do tend to get me down a bit. Cannot stand loud noises and dh cannot hear, so he talks so loud...and insists on attention at his every wish & demand. Baked 3 loaves of Oatmeal Bread, and made two pies...apricot and apple, for this week.

Yippee Ti Yo! BB's are all in their rightful homes!
Although little Isa in her new clothes is a scene stealer! Those NICU nurses are so special to remember Mick's BD too!
The replacement block is beautiful dublb. Sorry but it outshines the muddied block that you are replacing.
QNS is it the up coming storm that's causing the sore hands etc. About noon today I started getting sore as well. I was trying to whipstitch some pieced battings together and ouch. Finished it but set aside the sewing for the day after that. Took some aspirin; 6 hours later much better but time for some more. My once a day Aleve is not working today. I find aspirin works quicker for me on days like today.
And no QE no new little ones. These are blankets I promised myself to make for the NICU where Jackson was born. Every isolette had a full sized blanket draped over the isolette. It helps cut down on the bright light coming in on the newborns. Jackson then was able to take it home with him. So just fullfilling a promise I made to myself.
Going to try to take a pic of the moon rising over the treetops. Looks so "purdy" tonight.
