Mirabelle, you're doing such wonderful FMQ, why don't you quilt your PC yourself?

I started practicing my feathers this morning but I really make a mess. No feather is the way I want it to be I quilted the table topper for my DDIL (no feathers though) and it turned out ok. Still have to bind it but have to find the right fabric first. I thought I would quilt one of the UFO's but I need a lot more practice before I can start with one. I will go and watch one of the Craftsy classes I bought and practice some more!

Tomorrow is twins time again. I watched Isa this morning on telebaby. She's wearing orange today I didn't see Bram, maybe this afternoon. Tried to take a picture of Isa in her crib but that didn't work. There's a delay in the moment I click on 'take a picture' and the actual picture taken so most of the time I have a nurse on the pic instead of Isa LOL. I didn't get the pictures of my DDIL yet so I have nothing to show you.

Now back to the machine and practice more feathers

Anael the Pony Club quilt is just way too big for me to handle. My back would not allow me to wrestle with it under the machine.

Tomorrow I am going to patchwork then to DD's where I am spending the night (again) Friday is my embroidery club meeting then home late Friday afternoon. Good news is that DH is cooking dinner for me, gotta love the man.. DD's foot is healing and she can finally walk properly but has to be careful, she is working out really really hard at the gym, I am so proud of her she has lost more than 50 lbs in the past 6 months or 23 kilos. She has entered a 12 week challenge and this is week 4.

Talk to you all on Saturday...

Oh that's great, congrats to your DD on her weight loss! My DS is struggling a long time to lose weight but in times like this he just eats. He's a stress eater so now he has to start all over again. He should lose about 50 lbs too. I wonder if he's ever getting there, he's trying for such a long time now.

I was more or less agreeing with you, janRN, on that topic; sorry, if it seemed otherwise. I have met some wonderful nurses in my lifetime, and admire them. Mother and her sisters were nurses....some with certification, others were 'practical nurses' as I recall...home helpers.

i can feel your excitement, Mirabelle, on getting your PC done; next month I will be sending my PC off...too much going on this month, the $$$ are flying out of our account. Still set on celebrating our 47 years tomorrow with our 'date' to dine...hope there is no snow storm in the weather like last time we planned it.

Honchey, hope you are feeling better this morning. OksewGlad, I hope you have a chance to rest up a bit. Everyone have a good day.

Good idea CarrieM ... saving the pics. Will be very helpful to review as you decide what to make for whom!

DublB ... some good deep thoughts for all

GGal ... good balance with some quilting and some gardening!

Anael ... hope Elmer dried up, so you could do your quilting! I must have missed your question that QNSue mentioned about sandpaper dots. Not sure what it was ... if you're wondering where to get them, mine came from the hardware store. Just peel and stick. If not, then what was the question? Here the clear plastic circles can also be bought in the hardware ... ask for "bumpers" to stick on your kitchen cupboard doors.

QNSue ... pretty pansy block and pattern. I have a similar pansy fabric with the gilt outlines too.

JanRN ... I don't think I would have the patience to work with the "modern" workers! Everyone fiddling with their BBs and cells would drive me nuts, to say the least about the work not getting done. It drives me nuts enough when I am in meetings with those that are "wired". Hellloooooo could you please come back to the meeting? I guess I am too old school!!! Good thing I work mostly on my own ...

JanieW ... I've had days like that too! It was while doing one of my PC blocks that I had planned certain fabrics to go together. Got it made and then realized I had not used any of my yellow! And all that micro-stitching, no way I was going to be able to take it all apart. So as JanRN would say, it went into the box that will never be opened ... though it will someday make it into a mug rug or tabletopper.

CarrieM ... great job on the bag ... and looking forward to seeing your "play" results today!

Everyone ... did you note that CarrieM is working on her FFC? .... Perhaps some inspiration for those who have not started? I'm pretty sure that I am doing a table runner/topper. To be finalized, when I make the first cut! What about the rest of you?

MiraB ... wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!! your PC is trotting along!!! Glad you figured out the enter key problem. hhmmm wonder how many people on the QB have changed those settings and lost it too ... perhaps explains why so many have all their words jumbled together? I have a hard time reading those posts when there is no white space around. Just my eyes! Congratulations to your DD ... great loss there! She'll have to watch her ankle, as it will be weak for sometime, even though she thinks it is OK. Yea for your DH cooking for you while on his 'holidays"! ENJOY your getaway this week!!!!

OKSGlad ... we haven't seen you back yet, so I'm wondering if you kept your DD and family for the week? HOPE SO!!

DDamsel ... some more {{{{HUGS}}}} ... just because I think you might need them!
