Just checking in. Do you realize this is Page 1000? And just 6 more posts til we hit 10,000! We are a chatty group altho a few have been missing and greatly missed.

Worked today; yes, Anne, work, not playing with fabric like some people we know. (You know I'm kidding!) Just 12 more work days for me til The End!!! (But who's counting LOL). There are some patients that I'll miss seeing and others I'm happy to never see again.

QNS, love the sayings you've posted. It certainly is Autumn here today--high was only 55*.

Hi Guys, I've been reminding everyone that we're close to 10,000 posts...What an accomplishment!!! I just hope that everyone that reads these posts will join us in celebrating...I've been on this trek since since I posted the info with the first Farmer's Wife Saga as of August 2010? It's a little over 4 yrs....Although we ventured into a few other trail rides most of us have stuck together...I'm a little disappointed that some have left the trail but that's to be expected...We all need a break every once in awhile... it seems like we're struggling to keep it together...Any suggestions on a new venture??? How about a round robin quilt top and when the last person add s the last row. we can have a drawing as to wins it???..The most it would cost is a priority envelope to send to the next in line besides the $$$/stash for fabric to add to your turn in the round robin...We could limit the # of persons to participate to the # of rounds?...Can you understand what I mean...I think I just thought of our next "Trail Ride" We will have to think of a theme or type of top to make.. Anyone want to come along???

Honchey--I might be interested in this. It would get us through til the next Farmers Wife book comes out (May 2015 I think). Of course I would have to find time to sew...but I might be able to make that happen.

We could even keep it a "Mystery"...leave it up to the person sending it to who it will go to???

Sounds interesting, Anne. I've never done anything like this so it could be lots of fun. Just read "predictions" from the Farmers Almanac that this is going to be an even worse winter than last year so a fun project would help get us through.

Suggestion: develop our own centers with favorite colors, and send it on in a round 'robin' to go all around and back again to its owner. Each could mail you or the 'judge' a picture before sending it on to the next until completed and sent back to original owner for the reveal. That might last until the next Hird book release.
