"This makes me sad.... I saw her on CL this morning and thought.. that which she is coveted for has been ruined. Someone wanted to clean her and didn't know what to use.... she can be had for only $29.00"

She was a very pretty girl with beautiful "Red Eye" decals. Its very sad that someone didn't know how to clean her properly.

I am considering using some non-pumice GoJo on my Singer 115. Has anyone used this with good results? The decals are nearly pristine.

Sharon,

I have never had a problem with GoJo non-pumice. Now having said that...... machines this old frequently
have a damaged clear coat. This damage will allow the GoJo to get under the clear coat and get to and
probably damage the decals. So tread with care or to be totally safe use the tried and true method of cleaning
using sewing machine oil only.

That's the same table I just bought. It also fits the shortbed 301's.

It's definitely one of those things that caught my eye, but just didn't hit my pocketbook at the right time, so I hope it finds a good home.

Thank you Glenn, you insight really helps! I know there are good quality sewing machine oils and not so good sewing machine oils out there, so at least I know what to look for now!

Oops, I messed up. GoJo non pumice is what I used. But my clearcoat was probably gone already adn thats why it silvered some.
