    Blue,
Why not make them both at the same time? ;) Everyone can use an extra Jane or two around the house. :D

I plan on making both a CW scrappy and a blue/green asian fusions fabric Jane at the same time. Now, I reserve the right to change my mind. Maribeth

Maribeth, could you show a pic of your blue/green fusion fabric?

I did consider it.... for an insanely long time! The problem is fabric is so expensive here, to do two colourways like those I need to buy the fabric outright, can't get it in bits and pieces. And time is the other issue, I don't want to set myself up to fail.

Sorry, I meant to say Imperial Collection. I keep confusing the fusions w/the Imperials because I use them together.

This is the collection, I am just using the blue/greens in the collection w/beige/brown accents and beige/brown fusions.

I was thinking one would be the scrappy and then one of those two posted above.

Those would make a beautiful DJ Maribeth. Would you use the same fabric several times or have you decided yet?

I have about ten pieces (about 12 yards total) from the collection and I hope to be able to complete the DJ with just those pieces and the background I haven't yet purchased. I have to do that in the next two weeks. I am not sure if I want the background to be a part of that collection, it seems like a bit too much shimmer, and then, I think a flat black would make the colors pop more, maybe?

For the scrappy CW DJ it was easy, I will be using a bolt of muslin I purchased last week.

Sounds good! You'll know better once you audition some different fabrics. I love the shiny stuff!
