    Yeehaw!!!!!
    PC is all bordered.
It's been picked on both sides.
    Now needs a good pressing.
And yet to press and trim the backing.
    Close to the finish line!!!!!!!

QNSue ... Yellow, Blue, Green and White ... looks like DDamsel has every one covered with those quilts! I've never heard those sayings ... though I do like them!

CarrieM ... Good job on selling the supplies. The price of the Janome table looks high, as here they are priced at $500. Often with specials for it to be included as part of the deal. Maybe check some other place? That's what I had, and it is a good strong table. It worked for me, as I had other tables to work with it to hold the quilts as I worked on them. I was hoping for the same style for my new machine, but it's not available. Consider the custom fit, vs. one size fits all. Should you change down the road, it could save you having to look for another one later, like I have had to do. Another thing ... can you get a table where your machine would sit into the table then place your plexi table over the hole and around the machine, so that it is continuous from the plexi onto the table top other than the ridge/drop from it onto the table. Looking at the computer style, I don't think you would not be able to do that, and thus, are losing some of the benefits of a table. Any chance your dealer would have an used table? or access to a new one for you?

JeanieG ... hooray!!! Spectacular PC. The pieces around the edge look terrific. Have you got a new quilt (or six!) for that special DGGD?

OKSGlad ... so good to see you back with us, even if only for a wee bit! So, are the wedding bells calling for DS??? Yea! for the decision to moooooove! Don't purge too much ... you'll be looking for it later!

    Jeanie.................wow that's beautiful !!!!

OK, great to see you again Like QuiltE said, don't purge too much. I did that once and still regret it!

Carrie, I will take pictures but right now I'm using it as my designboard So I have to take all blocks down, clean the dining table and put the thing on the table. Will try and do that today!

Jeanie, that turned out spectacular. I love the blue & white sashing. Your outer border finishes it perfectly! How did you get them to fit so perfectly? It truly is a Pony Club quilt--great job.

Have been busy today but sounds as though everyone else has been also.

Anael prayers for Isa and that there are no long term problems with her eyes, she has come too far..

JeanieG what a beautiful quilt top, love what you did with the borders, can't wait to see the other one.

QuiltE heading to the finish line also

Please forgive me for not answering everyone's post, it is almost 11pm here and I have to be up early in the morning, I have a big day out with the local patchwork group hosting a show n tell with lunch and raffles and stuff. Have packed a couple of quilts to show, will try and take a couple of photos to share.

    Good night

Anael--you don't have to rush to clean your table off right away!! I can wait until you are done working on your OTM blocks so that you don't mess up the order. That is another beautiful block.

OK--I will take some updated pictures this morning on my way to work and post tonight. Honestly I haven't been down to the bridge again...it still looks pretty high through the woods.

Thanks for the input on tables. QE--I will be calling my dealer as I know she said $450-$500, not $600 for a Janome table. I need to contact the "sew perfect" people too and see if there is access to the feed dog drop button. Good thing I still have to save for a couple months so have time to decide.

I would like to know how to read things that I haven't seen or read before. How do I go about that? I seem to be looking at the same things over and over.the articles change color after you read them but don't stay that way. When I go back the next day they are all the same color and I don't remember what I already looked at.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Carrie, there's no order to mess up There's only a lot of fabric which I should have put away but didn't.
I worked outside all day, except early this morning when I made the Pieced Basket block. The weather is still lovely, sunny and warm. Makes me wonder how long this will last! Most of the time only a few days

No news on the Isa front. The eye doc saw her today, nothing changed, another check up later this week so they're staying in the hospital where they are now. Isa is 6.6 lbs now, Bram 5.5 lbs. End of this week they would have been due (April 27th).

Thanks so much everyone for the nice comments on my PC Quilt. I've started laying out the backing.

    QNS - the quilt measures 60 X 80.

Anael - Wow, Isa has really gained weight. Will they be releasing her to come home soon?

Jan - How did I get the borders to fit! LOL - When I first sewed the 5" squares together with the 1 1/2" strips, they did not fit (of course), even though I thought I had measured and figured out how many I needed. On the side borders I ended up taking about every other one apart and sliver cut the squares. On the top border, it was a little too small, so I took a tad smaller seam on the cream color border sashing. I just messed with it until it worked. The only thing that had to match was the corners. As you can see from a distance, you cannot tell that thy are a smidge off here and there, and that is ok with me! Most people would not notice, I don't think.

Now don't send the quilt police after me!

Ms. Kay, I do not know what to tell you. I go to the discussion page and then to the last page, if something is referred to that I do not remember reading about, I go back one page at a time, until it looks familiar.. I guess you can 'subscribe' to this thread and the computer will tell you when new info is posted.

Anael, thanks for the update on the SewGrands, its nice to know they both have gained so much weight...and are doing fine.

Have fun Honchey, and tell us about it later.

Ms. Kay - maybe you could jot down the last message # you read on a piece of paper. Like QuiltingNinaSue said, subscribe to any topic you want to follow, and you will get a message in your email that tells you that new messages have been sent to the topic.

Well, finally I am a member of a guild..I never realized that our group IS a guild...all this time I could have been saving $$...I just have to get my card...I will be getting it next week....
One of the ladies was given an old quilt that she cut into lapsize throws for the assisted living home in our area...we sewed on the bindings and were given them to take home & finish...I will be machine sewing them with a decorative stitch...it's about time I started using my machine featured stitches......I also am learning a new crochet pattern for a throw starting with one corner on the diagonal...should be very interesting...
I don't know why I'm getting very sleepy during the day...I napped yesterday for 2.5 hours..which is so unlike me...and I could go to sleep right now...I'm going to finish the binding before I do...
    Anyone have MB's to show???

Dublb, I think you are the first to get your April MB!! Flat rate by USPO or UPS? Good news anyhow. Enjoy

Glad you enjoyed your morning, Honchey, now you can save$$ when you go on a FART trip.

OKsewGlad, do not throw major pieces away, 'cause you will want that piece on the next quilt!! IF the room is bigger you are moving too, just use different sized cardboard boxes!!

How are the ducks doing, DD? We moved ours downstairs in the Chicken tractor. Unfortunately, they are on 1 by 2 inch wire with straw covering it...and they can injure their legs, but dh is determined, so he ain't listening to me. He lacks the poultry experience that I have experienced...just the fire he 'started' with his heat lamp next to the straw...he has to learn it himself. Guess its the 'male' mind at work.

I had a great time in Brady. The deer had munched a bit on the tomato plants but they are still alive. They hadn't touched the lilly's either. We forgot ta buy the squirt bottle ta spray an egg mixture on 'em. I guess we'll do that next time.
My class was interestin'. Not much instruction but a lotta sewin'. The pattern is a bit time consuming, so I got another UFO. LOL I will use it for my leader & ender project. It's less o' a quilt pattern & more o' a sashin' method. She does have us cut large squares ta be used as blocks for this quilt. I'm usein' 2 different cars & trucks prints. There will be stars at the cornerstones. I'm not sure I'm makin' any sense here. The pattern is Stars above by Sharyn Craig.

Now ya'll are gonna beat me w/a wet noodle. I didn't git any picts this trip & haven't even loaded the picts from last trip. As for the quilt I only don't even have the pin wheels done but do have alotta fabric cut. There are 20 4" pinwheels that's 80 HST's. I have all o' the HST done & half o' 'em trimed down. This is gonna take a bit. LOL
These ladies didn't talk while sewin'. They talked a lot before, after sewin' & durrin' lunch, but they were all business while sewin'. They were very interested in my glue. LOL

DH & I watched Les Miserables (sp?) last night. WOW that was a great movie!

Anael, great news on the babes--they're getting downright chubby!!!

Bev, that's a beautiful block Carrie made. Love all the bright colors. MrJanRn is still in San Antonio and is enjoying the beautiful weather & sights. I thought he was working. Hmmm.

Anne, what do you mean we are a Quilt Guild? I don't have a card and I haven't met any Snobs or Quilt Police on here. That's why I never went back to our local guild--too many so-called experts. Hope you're not coming down with something; just rest when your body tells you to. Bingo may be wearing you out LOL.

Lovey block, Janie; I agree that Jeanie did a good job on that one. I have been awaiting for you and QuiltE to receive your packets from me. May be tomorrow. I hope so.

I did receive QuiltE's square for my John Henry or name and to return it to her.
