So I see it's been a hot-hot-hot day in the world of JanRN!!!
Thankfully all was safe for you ........ and then capped off with that hottie delivering the goods!
Now you've got to go out and shop to replace those hair appliances ......... or get a new do?

Wonder if it was just as hot at GGal's and Honchey's??

JanieW ... I am so happy to have you back on the trail with us. Just one block per month will be good for your soul ... and manageable around your other commitments! Besides, it's good to have another Canuck with me!! I can only imagine the worries you are having as you sit and wait for the answers.

Anael ... Only the best of wishes, thoughts and prayers for your babies! and lots of {{{{{HUGS}}}}} for you!

DublB ... Congratulations on your new DGN ... a warm up for you for that new Grand you'll soon have too!

JanRN ... xxxfingers crossedxxx for a realistic offer this weekend, so you can get down to one home to manage! And have more time to get serious with your S16!!

OKSGlad ... and was that a *sigh* I heard for the pending MD appointment? While routine and regular, I know there are always trepidations by most of us!

QNSue ... I went to the RK site and it doesn't look like there is a Fusions like that currently. There is one in the Ombre line that I wondered if it might be the same colour tones, though the line markings are vertical/horizontal and not on the angle as yours are. Or the #4070 line that JanieW suggested? Or perhaps the others? Do you have the selvage with the info on it? Usually RK has a # along with the Fusions. I really like the effect it gives to your block (cute block too!) and it would be so nice for you to be able to match rather than have to switch at this point.

Here's a link to the RK site ... go to the dropdown menu on the upper right to see the other lines and their colour choices. I just love all of the different Fusions (as attested to with my borders/sashings/cornerstones!

I just walked in from our Camping Trip, and guess what I had waiting for me.......MY BONUS BLOCKS!!!!! Oh my, don't know how I got them before all of you people that live so much closer to Carrie?? I am i awe - just love each one of them! I stuck them on my display wall and plan to make them into a wall hanging, using the QAYG method. Now the awesome task of trying to decide what to use for sashing fabric for them. That may take some trial and error many times over! Thanks so much everyone!

What a great homecoming for you, JeanieG!

One and All ... Starting to think of my PC backing possibilities. What colour do you think I should aim for? I'm thinking a light blue, but open to ideas. And for it to be something fairly plain (perhaps a subtle print), to let the quilting be showcased and potentially be able to use it as reversable to a whole cloth look.

Carrie, I received my blocks today also. Thank's a million everyone. I love them. I love them. I love them. I never know when this computer will work and when it just freezes on me, but i just wanted everyone to know i have the BB blocks. All very pretty, and I'm planning a wall hanging to hang in my computer room.

I may have to go to my sisters this next month so if i'm not on that is why, she has a tumor in left lung (is haveing radiation now) clusters of blood clots in right lung and also a stroke on top of all of that in the last 3 weeks. So i'm very worried about her.

I'm still planning on doing one block of the month with everyone tho.

Great to hear so many have gotten their BBs already. I am surprised some closer didn't receive theirs yet. I hope I didn't write the wrong addresses on them...you know when you write 12, plus return addresses all in a row there is that possibility!

I was able to make some good progress on the retreat gifts today. They are to the hand-stitching step. My friend is going to take them with her on a trip next week to do that part and then when she returns we will do the quilting and add the baggies inside. It is a nice feeling to have that done before the month is half over. Tomorrow I will hopefully finish quilting my blocks on my PC quilt...14 blocks to go, then borders to add...shouldn't have any problem finishing by the end of February...yay!

Jeanie, I just got off the Kaufman site and they have something similar but not the one you're looking for...I checked out my area and they don't have it..I'm thinking it may be an older line of the fusion...i can't remember the website that can locate fabric...if the fabric is still available anywhere they can locate it...do you have any of the selvage left? that might help...

Ok more clues; I thought I had saved the salvage edge but wrong...just a few pieces....On says " Nana's" another says "...son Hercules"....and another scrap says, "...ild jungle FOR" so its not fusion or ombra fabric

Does the "Nana's" look like the one on this salvage? http://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f1...c-t210987.html If so...they are recommending a couple sites for you to look on that thread....

    I will check too...

There's one shop I totally forgot about because I'm not happy with the workers there...snooty and they cut the fabric crooked...I'm going to Joanns in bricktown..clearance is an xtra 50 % off tomorrow...it's on the way.. They carry all kind of fabric and it's an older store so they may have that line... we'll see. H.

Hello Ladies ... I see there's been a mystery fabric challenge going on here tonight.
Good sleuthing ladies ... and for finding the fabric for QNSue!!!
Now to actually find it so she can purchase it.

I'm ... no sewing today for me!
Though I am hoping for another marathon PC weekend ... creating more PC blocks, with a new personalized spin!

How exciting that so many have received their BBs ... I bet tomorrow the rest of the Americans will have theirs too!

So you had me curious and I did some searching.
Probably didn't find out anything you don't already know but here's a link to Troy's site.
    http://www.troy-corp.com/lxc/baaaaaa000/pcg/001.shtml

Looks like they represent lots of different fabric lines.

Just might be worth a call to their 1-800# and ask!
    Good Luck!

OK I have been out all day at my embroidery club so it has taken me a while to catch up on all the chatter...

JanRN, I do most of my own quilting, but Jamestown Landing was quilted on a HQ Avante longarm at my LQS, she rents out the machine so in effect you are doing the quilting. It is computerised so pretty easy..

Honchey my energy and inspiration comes from my beloved grandmother, I can remember as a small child sitting beside her and trying to learn hand embroidery, back them I did more unpicking than stitching. But she taught me that handmade was always better than shop bought. The other reason I get so much done it my wonderful DH goes to work and leaves me at home for a whole week on my own, so what's a girl gonna do but play with all her toys

Anael I pray every day that those precious babies will find the strength they need to gain weight and fight with all their might to stay with us.. Hugs coming your way.

Thank you everyone for your kind words on my quilt.

Still waiting on the postie for my BB's, are they here yet, are they here yet,

Time to head out for dinner at DS's, wondering what he is cooking tonight

Bram and Isa did well last night. Nothing needed adjusted, no extra oxigen, they slept and all was quiet. We need more of those nights (and days!!!)

Good luck on your fabric search, QNS--you've got some super sleuths working with you.

Anael, good news about those sweet babies. Proves the old saying "no news is good news".

Off to work to earn some FART money. Have a great day, ladies!

Thanks everyone for the searching!! Wow the results is a new learning experience! Troy Corporation is on the NW side of Chicago with over 70000 feet of warehouse space as a whole seller to retailer fabric stores! And other areas!

Now to be patient and see what the results are. Now to be patient and wait for the BBs. Now to go and bake more bread. Have baked 6 loaves since Tuesday of the Oatmeal bread. Cannot leave it alone myself and I never eat that much homemade bread...one bite leads to another one. MMMmmmmm, good!

Anael, very glad it was good news from the hospital; may it continue.

MiraB ... what good memories to have! and obviously good experiences for the joy of sewing to have been instilled in you. Wonder what your Grandmother would think of today's techniques and the machines we are using now? Did you always sew a lot? or was it something that you were able to get back to after the kids were gone and your DH worked away?

Anael ... here's for more of those quiet no news good news times!

JanRN ... Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to work you go! Great spirit to know the WHY to keep you motivated!

QNSue ... while Troy is a wholesaler, give them a call. You never know what Helpful Hannah there might be, to lead you to your discovery!!! Be sure you buy MORE than you think you need, and remember you have the extra BBs that I believe you are including in the top too. Perhaps binding in the same fabric? Good Luck!
