The race is on .......... between East and West USPS!
Hope there's no problems with QNSue's thread!
We want to make sure that the whole darned world gets to see this masterpiece ........ well, at least all the QB!!
I finished the binding on the Baby Irish and have posted it ........

So in celebration tonight ... I went down and made Maude's Album (keep your eyes open, JanRN!!!)
And got a good start on its Pardner ... Minnesota!
Looks like a lot of us are going to be getting back to the PC trail .... then onto the BB finish soon .... and of course, something else!!
If it's Compass Stars ... I never got around to downloading them.
Are they still up? It might be quicker if someone could give me the link ... instead of me trying to play hide and seek in my past emails!
Or I hope someone will be able to send them to me if they are not there to be downloaded still.
eeeeeeeeeek!

QE--great job on finishing the baby quilt...the stripe made for a good choice on the binding!
On BBs--if the last two sets of BBs get here over the weekend I will sort and go to the PO Monday to ship out otherwise it might be Thursday before I can get to town again...I will do my best to get them returned as soon as possible.

!!!GoodMorning!!!
I was out digging in storage yesterday, looking for trimmings for SulkyBom, and found that I have NO extra fabric. every bit is tied up in one project or another... grrr AND I have two bins filled with projects BESIDES what I have in the house :O
I dont know if I can justify buying fabric and starting another project! I DO like the compass stars... I am NOT a PPiecer... but it does look like a easy patter to start on. and AYWAY I would only have to buy a background fabric and go scrappy with the rest??? hmm.... or a could FINISH a project! I have TWO wedding quilts needing to be finished in the near future!
SPEAKING OF, I got to run to the airport today and pick up Dh son and new wife

I checked out the JB pattern a little closer. Yep---y seams!!! They weren't right angle y seams, they just angled a little bit but no way am I going to do even those. I'm such a wimp LOL. And that was just the first block.
Awhile back someone suggested 50 Fabulous PP stars (Carol Doak) and they are gorgeous. There's a thread running here on QB now and those ladies are doing outstanding work. I don't think we could start another thread about those could we? I haven't seen a thread about the Compass Stars so that wouldn't be an issue.
Again, I'll do anything. If we decide to do JB blocks, I'll just run along side of yinz doing my own thing and cheer yinz on. I am so looking forward to another project.

Gee, JanRN, it would not be the same without you!! Let us decide what we all want to do, shall we ladies? Good suggestions have been made (plural). JB is pricey for me if I bought her quilt fabric $398.. I believe....

I agree with QNS...it would not be the same without Jan and the fabric for Jinny's quilt it quite expensive. something to consider if we don't want to do an entire paper pieced quilt would be a freebie from Pam Bono. Here is the link. http://pamsclub.com/free-for-everyon...k-of-the-month. It looks like she uses some different techniques too.
