DD’s puppy died last night. He was the litter mate to my Troubles. What compounds the pain is that they had to put down their 16 year old cat yesterday.

I took 3 machines to Temple yesterday & am pleased with the process the 3 machines I took are at. My instructor is great.

Dublb, our fur babies are part of the family, and to lose one or more breaks our hearts. They will be missed, and their love for us makes good memories for us to remember them. Hugs to everyone.

Bev, so sorry for that sad news about your daughter's pets. Two in one day! Bless her heart.

That was unexpected to hear that her puppy died. And you had nice times together with your puppy and her's playing. :-(

My sister was here this afternoon and it was the first time she had seen my canary I got this summer. She thought Robin was very pretty. He didn't sing for her, but he sings every morning. She said she paid $150 to her vet to find out her cat had a psychological problem. The cat had been licking her fur off, but the vet could see no reason why. I thought it might be a food allergy, but I guess not.

This calls for The cone of Shame. My daughter’s kitty has to wear one sometimes when she licks a spot till it’s bald and bleeding. Crazy kitty.

Here is my FWS Medallion Quilt put together so far, with the 8" blocks and sashing. I have some of the 6" blocks completed, I will put them up on the display wall and take a picture later. Don't know if I like the Medallion way of putting this together because you have to stop and sew them together and put on the sashing strips - but by the time we are done with all the blocks it will be almost finished.

Wow, Jeanie! What a great quilt! It's so interesting, you could just look at it a long time. My eyes went from block to block to block... Fabulous work!

SBG, sorry about the kitty cat. Lucky to have good caretakers, and that the cat is loved.

JeanieG., I think what you have done is great. Love the colors and the progress on it. ope mine will look half as good.
