I've got to switch my sleep schedual... so that I can get up in the mornings and do things... instead of sleeping all day... that will help with the weight issue too... I'll figure it out!

DH is out of town this week so I stocked up on Lean Cuisine dinners. I actually like them and some of them are less than 300 calories. I usually add a salad. Only lost a couple pounds so far this month so I really hope this helps. I also have to walk the dog more since DH isn't here. If I don't lose at least 6 lbs by the end of the month I'm giving up.

DONT GIVE UP!!! You can do this. It is determinatin that will get us where we need to be. If you give up on you then who is left???
I am here for you. I know it is a hard struggle-I walk it every day but together we can DO IT!!

Just came back from walking the dog. It sure is nice to have some warmer weather to walk in now. It really makes it more pleasant. I've picked me up some ww meals and going to see if that will help me.

janRN hang in there, don't give up. I gained 3 lbs over Easter weekend, but decided that it was worth going on as I only gained 3lbs and not the 6 pounds I had loss. I also realized that I would rather lose a little bit at a time, and know that it would be easier to keep it off then having a big amount loss in a short time and chance putting it back on. My problem is that I want it all off right now,but I know that won't happen. My goal is to lose between 60 or 70 lbs. Right now I am just planning on small amounts each month and I will get there. I know there will be times that I won't have any loss, but as long as I have everyone here on the weigh in Iknow I am not alone and we are all here to encourage each of us along. I just hope the weigh in continues on each month, because it has given me the incentive to try to lose and any weight that I lose I count as a blessing.

It sounds like some people are having good results and some are struggling. Some are setting their goals a little too high and some are not setting goals at all. Some are happy and some are sad, or worried. Some are beating themselves up. But this is just life, even with all of the daily struggles, we can decide to live our lives to the fullest, and always keep the momentum moving forward. Today you can't do anything about yesterday when you made a bad food choice, or you didn't get up and get moving. You can't take anything back, beating yourself up is of no good use. So just make a decision to begin again today. We are so lucky to have today with all of its challenges. What we need to do is change our way of thinking, and stop using our problems as an excuse to eat things that are not healthy.

One of my favorite motivational authors says:

Happiness is something that you are, and it comes from the way you think.
