I thought the right person was eliminated and wasn't surprised at all. I actually wasn't impressed with very many of the performances the night before and totally disagreed with the judges comments on some. It should be interesting who goes next. Bet it's a female who doesn't do country

The top 12 have it made. Lots of doors will open to them and most will make a fortune on Broadway if they choose that. Simon said in an interview it was up to them to manage their spotlight while it was turned on, that's what the show does, turn on the spotlight for them. A small home town contestant will stay voted on, the whole town will vote. Chris Allen's home town met in gyms in crowds to vote as many time as possible, they were so proud of him. Big cities don't have as much one of ours pride for the show. I think Scotty will win or be runner up.

We, too, were shocked. I think sometimes people have two or more favorites and vote for the lessor one thinking everyone else will vote for the really popular one. She is very good and I am sure we have not seen the last of her.

I was devastated, heartbroken...
I had hopes that she would win it all... she's that good!!!
This is my first season watching the show since Melinda Dootlelittle was voted off... can't say if I'll be watching any more this season.

I agree with the judges that there is some remarkable talent this year in the top 13. I was surprised she was eliminated versus one or two others, but as my daughter commented as we watched, "someone every week has to be eliminated." Personally we're pulling for Scotty since he's from Garner where we live! I believe most everyone of these contestants will be offered a contract. If you look back to past years, the ones you hear the most about were not always the winners!

Love the judges this year. There doesn't seem to be as much negativity.
As I have two teenage girls, I agree that there is probably a large "teeny-bopper" vote. But the rest of us have to vote too. Aa I thought Pia was amazing, I never voted.
I guess don't count your chickens before they are hatched!

I was so sad when it came down to the last part of the show!! Hubby and I had talked about it on and off all day, wondering who would be eliminated. I had two possibilities but never dreamed it would be her!
It is going to get harder and harder because the ones left are all so good. I did have my top three picked out, but one was eliminated last night! GRRRRRR!!!!
The special guests last night....I fast forwarded past them....Terrible!!!
