Another name for Grandma?

I think you should sign it with whatever name you think you'll want to be called by your grandchild. They'll get with the program.

I am the grandmother of 13. 2 of the grands came ready made and we have never made any distinction between them all. We ae grandma and grandpa to all of them. A child can never have too many grandparents who love them.

My grandchildren also call me nana. I called my ggg nana my g nana, my children call my mom nana..don't feel quite so old that way! :)
Except my husbands grandkids, they were told she is Michele, she is only your papaws wife.

we use the german word for grandma which is oma. also opa is for grandpa. ( don't tell him but in japanesse i was told opa means airhead........lol isn't that so fitting ?)

Ask what they will prefer you to be called. It won't matter anyway at some point. My firstborn granddaughter took care of it. We started out being Oma and Opa. Then it went to O-mommy and O-poppy. She ended up with Oni and Opi and that's who we are.

Hi,three of my grandchildren call me Mamara, one calls me grandma and four call me mom mamara. They get mad when I say its mamara. I called my grandparents Mamara and Papara.
Pronounced mamare and papare.
