Had it serviced and cleaned for $35 (plus a foot for it) so am ready to go.
I love my 99k. Yes, its heavier than a featherweight, but it doesn't run all over the table!

I got 2 of them on eBay one for me and one for daughter gave 250.00 for 0ne and 325.00 for one then I never use mine as I have an old 1171 Pfaff that does not weigh much more and take it instead because it has walking foot and built in walking foot and so much easier to use

That's the ebay price range. You could always offer less and see if they will take it. It's only worth what they can sell it for.

Just bought one in excellent shape for $180. Only extra foot was a zipper foot, but it has tons of bobbins and needles with it.

A few years ago I was at the Canton Flea Market in Canton Texas and I saw a FW for $450. When I exclaimed how expensive that was, the vendor said "Well, they don't make them anymore". I just kept walking..

I checked the local craigslist and they were running that high. I paid $300 several years ago, but that included the card table made for the featherweight (which was not in great shape, but I had the top surface replaced). The seller was a man who had just inherited his grandmother's featherweight, and he wanted to keep it for the sentimental value, so he sold the one he already had. You can get bargains, of course, or find one that is in bad shape or missing parts, but most people who know what they are selling seem to be asking in the $400 range or even much higher. I look at it this way - I have my featherweight, would I sell it for $200? Absolutely not! Well, that may not be a fair comparison, because I do love to sew on mine, but even if I had multiples I don't think I would want to sell them cheaply.

The 99 is a fine sewing machine, but very heavy so it really doesn't take the place of the featherweight.

I paid $240 for mine and $65 to get her in good running shape. then another $25 for a walking foot. it came with about 5 bobbins and about 5-6 feet with it. I love it and am making a quilted jacket on it now.

I have my mom's featherweight, we sewed all our clothes on it when I was in highschool, and I wouldn't trade it for the world...I am 73 now, so she got her's in the 40's...then I was at a garage sale about 15 years ago, and stumped my toe on something under a table, looked down and there was the green and white box...I ask the lady was she selling the box, she said yes, for $25...I knew pretty well what was inside, but I just picked it up and paid her right then...so needless to say, I have the white featherweight too....now that was a bargain...keep both of them serviced...and use them when I travel..just made some curtains for daughters breakfast room, and took the white one and did them at her house... love sewing on them...

I paid $500 for mine, about12 yrs.ago. It was in Mint Condition, book with it, all the attachments, and perfect condition. It had hardly been used, and I have had no problems with it. Mariah

Five years ago at a quilt show in Oklahome, someone had several FWs for sale and they wanted over $400 for them then. I can't remember if it was $425 or $450. I finally found one for $200 a couple years later from at an estate sale.
