I am so happy that you were able to get the help you needed here!!! That would upset me too if I had to pay them $16 to answer a question about THEIR product! Geesh! The people here are just awesome when one needs help! I Thank All of you for being so caring & helpful.

That's what I was going to say.

Sometimes with my work printer I have to re-start the computer to get them communicating with each other!
I do this and I also totally unplug everything for a few minutes. It eventually works again-mine is an HP but I think they all run on the same principal. RE (replace eventually)

My mac would not talk to my brother printer. I called brother and after checking alot of different things I got this error message and read it to the man and he said write it down and call the Apple people and give them this error message. Well I had to pay 49 dollars before they would help me. It was for a 30 day service and took them 5 minutes. It did fix the problem. $49.00???? on my credit card i had to pay.

Our printer jammed up a while back and would not work at all. We tried everything we could think of. DD's boyfriend is awesome with computers and the like, so I gave him permission to take the printer apart and see if he could find the problem. He found a teeny-tiny bit of foil gum paper has gotten stuck in the rollers. (DH is the gum chewer and gives it to the grands.) He put it back together and it worked.

But since it was in need of new ink, we traded it in at Best Buy for a new Kodak and I love this new printer!!!
