I love in Central Oklahoma. Have for almost all of my life. We have 4 grown kids here with 6 grandchildren. My parents & DH's Mom is here as well. Not in the same town but within an hr of us. Neither of us like it here real well but our kids would literally have a fit if we mentioned moving away! We quietly discuss it between us though & we do not know where we would like to retire in 8 more years. We think E Texas somewhere. We love having a change of Seasons and we both like snow, so may have to rethink that. We live in a nice subdivision and are close to all of Oklahoma City's ammenities. However I would like a couple of acres to someday build on somewhere. Someplace quiet. LOL

Tell me where this is? I might take a travel job up to WA state close to the Idaho border..the town is Clarkston...just considering it but having lot's of quilt shops around might make a difference in the decision.. also, depends on how much snow they get...thanks

I love where I live. It is an RV community. Lots of nice neighbors (no Childern), most. everyone owns an RV and they travel a lot. We sold our RV 5 years ago. I have a crafting group that meets once a week at our clubhouse & several of us are quilters.
We have the 4 seasons, fall being my favorite. Did I say I love living here.

I have lived here for 38 years and came from another large town. Indianapolis and Columbus are very similar as far as weather and government. Columbus is a big college town and we were not used to this. The Colts came to Indy after we moved so they have that to brag about. The 500 race was the big thing when we lived there. The people are the same and have come from all over the country.

I lived here before years ago and moved back,but it is not the same.Too many people from everywhere and I really like a small little town because people seem to be closer and friendlier.Too late to think about that now.Good ole West Virginia is where I was before.Many friendly people and they are there to help you if you need it in no time flat.The big plus is that there were also mountains there.
