If you have a Singer Futura All In One machine the embroidery software extensions use all other brands extension. I purchased the SES 2000 at end of 2009 and it came with embroidery software which matches up with all other brands out there so it really doesn't matter what software you may purchase.

I'll pull it out tomorrow and try and post back all the different extensions and the program they use. I know the program but can never remember it. Its an expensive program if purchased by itself but when Singer contracted to use it they put it on all there Singer embroidery machines as I recall.

I have to admit in not yet using the machine much since I purchased it but that is all going to change in April I start taking embroidery lessons a couple times a month to learn how to make good use of it.

QUOTE=Krystyna;5942054]Lynnie, are you talking about the Brother PE 770? I have one and love it. If you ever come to visit with Dotty, I'll be happy to let you play with it. I'm sure there are other machines with more bells and whistles, but this one has been a work horse for me and I use it professionally.[/QUOTE]

My hubby got me the Brother PE 770 for my birthday last week and I am too scared to even plug it in. Any advice you can share would be so welcomed !![

Colleen, I felt the same way when my husband bought me a Babylock Sofia2. It sat in the box forever and a day. My advice - plug it in. Just do it. Find a little piece of cloth and some stabilizer and go play. There are lots of designs on the machine. When you're ready, I'm sure we'll be happy to share the site where you can get a zillion free designs.

Singer Futura's have the COMPUCON software with sew and stitch and Studio Plus software in it.

It easily converts to various formats.

I just saw some adorable stuff that was stitched on burlap. Has anyone here ever tried this? I did a search on-line and found several helpful articles, but would love to hear about your personal experience with this. I have had my Brother PE780 for a couple of months now and am having loads of fun learning to use it. I want to make some bookmarks for the girls in my Bible study group which is about to disband for the summer and the burlap would make a great material for a bookmark.

Yes it is WELL worth the money.
The design discs alone could possibly be MORE than that.
