I hand quilt. The frame is set up on my side porch. Get to enjoy nature, music and quilting all at the same time. Works for me!

I do both but in order to finish some of the quilts faster I mainly do machine quilting.

My quilting is hand work, but on the really big pieces, I send them to a long-arm quilter. A king size quilt is pretty time consuming, alone. And, to be honest, sometimes I hire the hand quilting, to meet a schedule. Seems the months are shrinking, and major events come up too quickly. piecefully, the old one

I am hand quilting for the first time and love it! There is so much satisfaction in stitching by hand. Since this quilt is for my daughter, I'm hopeful she will treasure it and hand it down to the next generation. The last three small quilts I machine quilted and still want to try free motion.

I hand quilt, as I have never conquered the machine quilting. Also I love to sit of an evening and quilt. Last night I finished a quilt for my 20 month old grandson which I will be photograping today, and will put on board. It is all hand quilted.

I hand quilted a quilt and it took me 7 years to finish, so I fmq everything now on the machine. Love the driving and I feel relaxed when doing it, put headset on and listen to some great Rock and Roll (not too loud because you have to listen to your machine talking to you too) and drive.

I quilt by hand now. But, hopefully it won't be long before I own my new longarm machine!!! I can't wait.
