Do you refer to your quilting as a "hobby"?

If you really feel you must correct someone's speech, I would use your example, smile politely and say..."Oh, it is not a hobby any more. I am way past that. You should see my stash."

HUMmmm Good question. For me I have some many things I do that really are an art of different types. Egg art, Gourd art and Material art is what I call it. I only do for family and friends so not a professional for any of them. To me is is what could be called a Hobby ART!
