How Important is Your Stash?

i will bring most off my stash when we move to mexico but it is way less important than my family. i try to start with my stash but offten have to get fabric to finish up the quilt. i only have 3 years worth off stash.

My stash is fairly small; I tend to shop for specific projects. Occasionally I buy fabric that just absolutely bowls me over, and then I'll usually buy the entire bolt! I make clothes more than I quilt though.
My philosophy is that fabric is meant to be used, not stashed! I'm on a budget but I don't feel like I have to spend everything on one trip. The money can be saved for next time!
