All the projects are looking great! Judy5cents such a smart looking dog, Kirsta I can understand how that would take a while to figure out where you were. Its looks awesome simple but complex at the same time. Meyert looks like a good start, I have respect for those who do the DWR, it's not one that is on my bucket list. Teen great progress on the patriotic quilt. Kathy great wall hanging love mariners compass patterns, and that does not look dated.

Tried posting what I was up to last night but the kindle decided to not play well. Did do some work on a wall hanging that has been a WIP. Also some light quilting on the coasters, and worked on my mittens. Here is a picture of my progress.

Will try to get the coasters bound this afternoon and work on some more hand quilting.
We have a Cell group reunion tonight so will probably bring the knitting to work on while we chat and watch the Vikings game.

judyscents..... Cute doggie...Will make a great wall hanging for studio. Love to fill my walls with own creativity.

well...I got sidetracked cuz it's 60 degrees outside so I piddled around my bushes and clipped roses. Then I ended up repotting a couple of plants. Geesh... The game is starting soon so I'll retreat to my sewing nook and get'r done. This week I really need to focus on yard sale prep, which means going thru more stuff and less time sewing.

Yep, I got sidetracked too. I got my wreath secured with basting tacks but didn't do any quilting. Hubby was home and working on computers in the lounge so I hung out with him and practiced my bobbin lace and wound bobbins instead. Hopefully will get my twister wreath quilted this week though.
So many beautiful pieces everyone, you are all inspirational!

judy5cents... love your dog... i've always admired that pattern, too.

I posted this flimsy some time ago. It's through our church charity group so had to wait for them to meet again to get the batting and backing. Got it quilted today. I have 3 more of theirs to be done by the end of February

Judy: Sweet little doggie.
Nancy: Nice finish. It’s great to get those donation quilts finished. Good luck with your other two.

~. I see this is a very blurry photo. The focus fabric is teddy bears.

Everyone's projects are looking great. For me, today is going to be a slow stitching day. I'll settle into my comfy chair and pick up my lap hoop for some hand quilting.

So many great pics! I got sidetracked working on my teeny tiny pond. It had frozen solid during that long very cold snap we had several weeks ago, so I bought a heater for it and installed it before the most recent cold snap and it did a great job keeping the pond from freezing over. Today was warm enough that I could pull out the plants that had escaped their pots and repot them. Unfortunately what I had feared had indeed happened when the pond froze solid, the green frogs that had been moved in last spring were quite dead . Very bummed.

I did get a little bit of quilting done on an art piece and also submitted my entry for the New Traditions in Textile section at MQX.

Here's the little bit I got done this weekend. The first 2 pics are of a quilt that I was working on the painting part during a previous VQW. I got it sandwiched, the outline quilting done around the drawing and am now working on the micro quilting to flatten the background. The 3rd is the snails pace chain piecing I'm doing to complete the blocks for BH's ORL.
