Yes, I am in.
* Complete 40 more light string blocks for Bonnie Hunter's Jamestown Landing quilt.
* Finish the tedious but final parts of the collage quilt, sew the background pieces and start adhering the embellishments. It is a Laura Heine design.
* Bind the scrappy brick quilt.
* Machine applique 8 more quilt blocks.

I’m in, for the times I can sew. Summer camp is Monday & Tuesday, off for the Fourth, then back to camp for the last 2 days of the week. I leave next Sat for our motorcycle convention in Montgomery, Alabama.
Today I sewed some strips to 4.5” blocks. I have an idea in mind, & the blocks look good so far. I also need to bind my Boxes of Strings. I finished quilting it a week or two ago but teaching summer camp interferes with my sewing. I was also HOT when I got home each day-I taught rocket camp last week & we launched a rocket in central Texas heat EVERY day!

Hooray! The three quilts I needed to bind are done and posted in the Pictures section! My wife will work on the niece's quilt tomorrow and I may start cutting Halloween fabric for personal quilts for my wife, my daughter and me!

Oh yeah love to find out that this is VQW .
Finished my Circa 2016 quilt yesterday and hung it up yeah.
Working on Serenity Circle quilt today have the half circles sewn on to their wedges now tomorrow will sew the 4 sections into blocks.
If I get the above quilt pieced I may move back to working on my Jen Kingswell quilt Long Time Ago.

Giquilt, lovely block. I thought of following on that QAL, but I have too many other projects going. Some of them I will work on the next 4-5 days.
My goals this week: 1. Finish my brother’s quillow. 2. Enlarge a Halloween top from a throw to a queen size top. I only need to add 30” all around. First I need to find my box of Halloween scraps. This will be a ufo finish when it’s completed. 3. Complete a small winter w/h by quilting and adding a few decorative buttons. Another ufo project. 4. Straighten up my sewing room (this s/b my #1 project. 5. Put binding on my tree skirt which has spiked border verses the usual curved bottom edge. I’m either going to figure out how to do that or just, curve all the points and make the skirt smaller. And be done with the project. I don’t intend in keeping it. 6. Put 2 borders on my judy train mystery #18, so I can quilt it next month. Lastly, mend my brothers backpack. That s/h keep me busy for this month.
Thank-you Heather for hosting and extending this VQW. I’m now able to participate. Happy sewing everyone.

I finished putting together the Red, White and Blue swap. Look on that thread for the pic. Now to get back to the Judith Hiudia...I'm not spelling that right, fall colored sampler. Right now I'm stuck on a block that the template needs to be enlarged and my machine won't do that.
Thanks for hosting this. Marcia

Bummer...gonna have to just envy your sewing projects this week. We opened up our home to allow some friends from Texas to stay there all week (through July 6th) since we live in our summer cottage until the end of September. I do have an old Pfaff here on the island but I forgot to snag a project from home.
