Sewbizgirl, what a great quilt!! I would keep this one forever!
Sorry to hear y'all had flooding. I live on a creek that I keep an eye on during heavy rains ... like the recent hurricanes. Fortunately, the only flooding I ever had here was in the garage. No damage done.

We live on high ground, at the top of a big hill. But to get out on the roads in any direction, they go through lower areas and that's where the flooding is. So I was homebound yesterday, but at least we didn't have to worry about flooding here at the house. Counting my blessings!

Wow Battle Axe, you got a lot done! It looks fabulous. I think even if the replacement red is off just a bit it won't be noticed as the quilt has so much going on a small thing like a dye lot variation won't be obvious at all.
