Stunning! It has a very romantic feel. Of course I love the scrappy look.

I had taken a picture to share with everyone when it came, but never downloaded the camera. I am so sorry - guess that looks like I didn't care, but I DID!!!! Here is my beautiful quilt - just love the colors.

True but it was weird how it all went.
I love the Frog Pond quilt that brat made. You lucky girl! Enjoy it.

OMG! I'm done! I am soooo sorry I am so late. I mailed it this am and it is supposed to arrive on Monday. The tracking # is 1311 3210 0000 0373 3918

I'm so excited for you to see it Jillaine, please don't wait for me to get mine before opening it, you've waited so long.

Jillaine grew up on the California coast and misses the ocean. She requested a traditional pattern with a modern twist-batik fabric in shades of blue, green, aqua, teal and creams. I named the quilt 'California Dreamin'. I really hope you like it

I am open to help with a quilt if someone doesn't get one. I just love mine. I have been using mine daily because its so hot here. I use it with the sheet at night. I hope everyone enjoys their's as much as I love mine.

My quilt for Jillaine was delivered Monday evening according to the tracking number but I haven't heard from her. She didn't answer my PM and there's been no activity from her on the board since 7/6. I hope she made it back from vacation OK. I don't want to post a picture of it if she hasn't opened it yet.

I posted pictures in my album if you want to look. I'll let Jillaine post on the thread if she wishes and I'll post pics of the quilt I receive from her here.

That is so worth being late oldcatlady. It is stunning!!!!!!! I would wait for that anytime. The colors are so serene and yes, it does bring in that California you were wanting to give her. Oh my goodness.

Here I am; I should change my ID name to "missing-in-action"... So sorry about that ladies. We had a WONDERFUL two week vacation in Europe (mostly Italy), then I've had two business trips since getting back, and JUST got back last night after 8 hours driving from New England. Guess what was waiting for me?? ;-)

So now *I* am behind in getting OldCatLady her shabby chic creation. I have more travel coming up next week and the week after, so I'm REALLY behind!

Additional outstanding swaps include (according to my recordkeeping):

    -- boop56 and didi
    -- mindless & IrelandDragonQuilting
    -- QuilterMomOf3 and KGoodhand
-- nursebonnie and leakus (leakus is done)
    -- QuilterMomma and Linny
    -- zzmom & lovingisabella
    -- Tam...Moo and LovingGrandma (tam...moo is done)
-- Yosemitesa and roseirish48 (i think all but shipped)
    -- buddysmom and shortmom5 (ditto)

My record keeping could be wrong.

    -- Jillaine

P.S. Because of my unavailability this year, I will not be hosting Q4Q next year; however, I'm happy to help get a new coordinator set up. I hope someone will take it up.

Yosemitesa and roseirish48 we are all traded and received. Both mailed on the same day and I think we both received them the same day.

So am I tracking this right, just following up to track for myself, these are the four sets that have not swapped? Leakus has not had good communication with nursebonnie? I hope she is ok and just busy.

Who was your partner? Have they been in communication with you?
For that matter, how about you others? In touch with your partners? What stages of completion are you? I am being nosey. Just want everyone to get their quilt. I am so blessed to have been partner with some great gals who have been dutiful and blessed me that I want everyone to have the same joy.

I agree, I want everyone to have the excitement of opening that special box and know that a great surprise is inside. I was so very bless by my partner, buddysmom. I am willing to help out those who didn't receive a quilt, just let me know how I can help.

I am also willing to help with a quilt for someone. My partner NClauri's quilt she made for me is so wonderful. I use it most nights on my side of the bed as my hubby is a quilt hog. I hope she is enjoying the one I made for her as I am the one she made for me. Hope you ladies are also and wouldn't want anyone who made one to be left out.
