I have 'hot toddy' for my runner and I am sending to her on Friday. I have to hit the road tomorrow for a little bay area run but will be back to get all my obligations cared for. She is good to go with sending mine so I am not worried. and its not in the rules but its got to get out of here.. I get anxious if I have to keep waiting on these mailings. four items sitting on a chair waiting on go. frustrating.

Vanogay sorry your in the dumps. its not a fun place to be at all. I will hope that you find something to smile about anything at all and that soon your spirits are flying high. I think even just lookie lou is ok girl you don't always have to post. In theory Marybeth has sent your fabrics. she was due home today and I swore she said she is or has mailed your fq's I hope she wrote you at least. Marybeth hello.. can you answer that? I say do what makes you most comfortable if you ahve to use your fabrics and then just keep hers when it arrives for your stash? I also say mail when your ready its all good

Now Nancia, sounds like oh happy days for you. I have taken the morphine pain pills before they sure do work but the synthetic ones make me feel really sick. I just skip most of them. take a pill to fix one thing and you need another to fix that one argh! well glad you got out even with a bad back. sometimes we just have to live really even though things arent perfect. It sounds like it was a bunch of fun especially if your the one being dragged around in the middle.

Brat and Jaba, got an e-mail from MTL saying that something was mailed. Never got here - would have to go back and check to see just when that was (date). Anyway, today I got another e-mail from her saying that she was positive she had mailed, but since I haven't gotten, now we're all confused (and with me, it doesn't take much to confuse!). Guess we'll eventually get it straight. I'm in no real hurry (per Jaba), so have the time to wait, just don't like waiting. As far as my mood goes, perhaps it'll get better - wish I could put finger ont he trigger and find out what causes it. Even at my advanced age, I still feel it has something to do with the hormones - you know, them mones! Heading downstairs to work on a Carol Doak paper piece star - one day I'll have enough for my quilt. (I have 11 made - want 16 minimum)

i am sometimes slowed down, and sometimes temporarily halted, but i keep getting back up. this has been going on for so long it is now the normal pattern for my life. i have nothing that threatens my life and for that i feel very grateful. there are times i am unhappy with the way my life has gone, but i try not to dwell on that. i have a devoted dh, 3 healthy wonderful children, a fantastic dil and the best dgd in the world. and 2 silly dogs and 2 arrogant cats. life truly is good! and i have a wonderful group of on-line quilters that i count as friends. so if i complain it is because temporarily i have lost track of my blessings. but they are always right here after all. and a little gin and tonic will never hurt me! lol

We certainly can all feel sorry for ourselves at times or just in bad spirits with ourselves, and the whole world in general. It is the species of things isn't it. I'm doing the same thing today, taxes...my worst enemy from he--. Hate this time of the year and it has nothing to do with winter probably will be tomorrow though. Yep I think it's the mones thing too so I better go have a vodka tonic and get ovr it. Surely that will help at least it sounds good to me.
Vanogay it will show up, it's just taking the scenic view, or maybe it's still in MaryT's car waiting to be taken to the PO She was in a hurry to leave after all. I need to PM my partner and see what she's up to.

hahah it's such a small snippet it snippeted itself right off the link.

So yesterday (monday) I got my braces adjusted for the first time in months cause i haven't had the money.. wewt.. Progress again. love it. but now my face aches.. ugh. It's getting busier at work.. yay. I traded the gas beastie for a little jetta.. did i already say that. probbably.. today (tuesday) I had a midterm, an order of draw proficiency, and a graded venipuncture, and across all three, I lost 4 total points. Wewt! My teacher saw when I was done that I was shaking up a storm.. she goes "it's ok, it's over you can stop shaking now".. and we talked about what meds we're both on for anxiety, and how mine don't help one single bit. it just struck me as funny. 3 more tests this week.. bleh.. wish me luck. now off to bed for me. Starting friday I will be sending the 2 week countdown reminder emails.
