Wow 70 was no way related to you! Never thought you were anyway near 70. I am 62 and say it is just a number I feel and act like I am 40. I am retired and love it.I can sew all day if I want to but most days I am on the go! Keeps me young LOL

Well, I guess I'm going to be everybody's grandma here. I'm 72. I don't usually feel that old, but some days.........
Sometimes I walk by the mirror and wonder who the heck is that!? Then I think how did I get to looking like this? I still feel the same on the inside (most of the time) but the outside is NOT aging well! Oh well, I've made up my mind to enjoy every single day with my friends and family. You can't let a number get you down.

Welcome Lstew - There's a couple of us newcomers here. Yes, a friendship swap is a great way to use fabric that has you stumped. Somehow it all turns out so pretty in the end. I have one that was created in a swap over 12 years ago that I still enjoy very much. Wish I had embroidered all the names and places onto the blocks; the information has worn off over the years.
Cheers!

Here are the names of those signed up for the 2 month group of Boom 17. This brings us up to 15. While I know some of you want to double-up, I'm going to wait to see if we have any more people interested in joining before going that direction. If you know anyone who might be interested, there's still just over a week until sign-ups close but once we hit 20, we'll start. As always, if you spot an error, EMAIL me asap at . Thanks!

Hope y'all can see this - it's from Mary Engelbreit's "Bowl of Cherries" for VIP. Selvage says it was printed in 2008. I cut it generously so anyone can use it as background if they want to. There's only about 4, maybe 5 colors in the print. I like just about anything in quilts but I tend to make geometrics and stars, though I do branch out occasionally. I've cut and bagged 20 pieces, now off to print the notes for inside the baggies. Keep the scraps if you will use them. Otherwise send them back to me so I can make fill-in blocks. No fabric should go to waste, ya know! One of these days maybe I'll make that charm quilt I've dreamed of.
