Marietta, the full name is The Farmer's Wife Pony Club Sampler Quilt, and it's by Laurie Aaron Hird. It's full of fun stories from the kids who won ponies, and old pictures of them and their ponies. What really struck me was how well the young children composed and wrote letters. These days, a high school student couldn't do half as well.

The second half of the book is all the blocks and patterns, plus it comes with a CD that gives you templates AND paper piecing patterns for each block in the book-- 90, I think! It's really great fun.

I just put a "wanted" post on the main screen. IF anyone has this fabric in the purple that connecting threads made Id be very happy to pay for it and shipping. I need about a yard to finish my purple quilt. Already have the orange and blue done. I told Connecting threads they need to consider remaking this fabric but they said doubtful Thanks!!

Joan, there's a Facebook page called Quilter's Classifieds where people buy and sell stash fabric from each other. You have to join the group first, but there are 38,000 people in that group. You could post your request there and are quite likely to find someone who has it.

Here's what I've been doing this morning. These are for my SIL's quilt. I'm going to make it with 30 blocks, so I've made the extras already. These I sandwiched and machine stitched in the ditch. I'm trying to get a jump start on Christmas.

Many of you are so industrious this week. It's a good thing too...better finish those projects up because some of you will have their blocks shipped on MONDAY! Those of you who are ONLY IN THIS GROUP will be receiving your tracking number and information tonight directly from USPS for Monday's shipment. I see no reason to make you wait when I've got every F8 you will need. Woo, hoo!

The following Boomers should be on the lookout for your email: Bibliostone, Klaws, MJPEncinitas, Kassaundra, Mollymunchkin, Marcialee, Cheesehead, Marlenab, JayneW and Annt59. When you get it, PLEASE look it over and double check your address. I've checked and rechecked the addresses, particularly for the newbies, but mistakes still happen. If anyone spots an error on their address, EMAIL ME! I'm going to be out of town with limited connectivity but I will be checking emails - NOT PMs. I'll have time to make changes to the addresses on Monday.

Everyone else's will be shipped within a couple of days of receipt of the last of the Summer F8s come in. They're expected Monday.
