Oh, I am giggling and my face is red. I made a mistake on the very first cut and had to make adjustments and corrections. It was meant to be a simple "economy block" but ended up just being an exercise in "let's try this, Ok, let's try that, and it measured 12.5, done!" ![Wink](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/wink.png)

This Aunt Addie's block is for Libster. I had to laugh how we will rip apart a block if it doesn't appear the way we want. That was the case with this block. Originally, I made the points of the star pink and burgundy which matched the flowers, but it just had a glaring effect. I remade the block with a softer pallet.

LC, your dragon fabric is totally adorable! I couldn't find anything locally so I sent off for some dragons that hopefully will be suitable.
TG, love your block for Eden.
Cheese, your edited block for Libster is beautiful and the colors are restful.
Terri! 5 blocks! You were busy yesterday. Hope your back is ok today. All 5 are terrific.
I think I've found a block that will work for duckling's gossip... fingers crossed!

Here are the sites that have free 12" block patterns (12.5" before putting into a quilt). If anyone knows of any more, please post them.

Terri, fabulous blocks, may favorite is the one you made for LStew.
SBG, I have been using the first "Around the Block" book almost exclusively during this swap. I should get the other two books, Judy Hopkins patterns are so easy to follow.

Anna, I thought that frog was hilarious and a perfect center fabric.
Cheesehead lstew’s fabric worked out perfect for paper piecing, no directional fabric, small print and lots of colors to work with.
Sewbiz surprisedly my back was just fine today.
I went to the dentist today a little early, like 2 days early. I wrote the correct time but wrong date. Told my dd that I didn’t think the appointment was today so I was ok that I was wrong because I was right. 😁
