Heat may be a factor to think about when sending something. Places such as California are still getting temps above 90 degrees. |
Food can be sent, but I would say the same the rest have said about the starters for the bread. The package could be sitting for weeks and it could be a complete mess when opening time comes.
As to sending overseas...umm....unless it is already packaged by a company, it would be ok. If it is something you made, say like jelly or jam, I would NOT send it. |
